Afternoon all!
Well, as the title says, really.... Have recieved an X99 Micro 2 for my Birthday, due to work commitments, not been able to make any use of it, until this week....
No Boot, No Bios Startup, No Nothing Except Flashing 5VSB_LED.....please help?
removed everything connected to the board, with absolutley no change whatsooever....

Righty-oh!
EVGA X99 Micro 2 Motherboard
Intel Core i7-5820 3.3GHz CPU - Tested & Working, used briefly in another PC
Corsair Vengeance White Memory 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 RAM 3000MHz - Tested & Working, used briefly in another PC
Game Max Iceberg 240mm CPU Water Liquid Cooling System - 2x PWM Fans - Tested & Working, used briefly in another PC
ASUS GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB GDDR5 Graphics Card - Tested & Working, used briefly in another PC
EVGA 850 GQ, GOLD, 850Watt, Semi Modular Power Supply - Tested & Working, used briefly in another PC
All housed neatly and tidily in a Fractal Design Node 804 Micro-ATX Case - Fantastic, Spacious case with tonnes of storage space
Everything, apart from the motherboard, has been installed and used in another PC, right up until 2 days ago....
This is my second Node 804 case, prior to this I was always drawn in my towers, midi, mini & full, but my place has gotten a bit cluttered with spare parts, leftover upgrades, and a few 'seemed as good idea at the times'....
The major downside is timing... For the past 23 years I've worked all over the place in various I.T. based roles, but for the last 4 I've been out of work due to medical conditions, so a little extra disappointed I can't get this to work :(

When you said you "removed everything connected to the board" did you mean you tested with bare minimum parts such as the CPU + cooler, one stick of memory, and the PSU?

Well, I never.... read somewhere about the motherboard back plate causing issues, but mine wasn't interfering with any ports, as far as I could tell.... But figured I'd give it a go anyways....
Much to my surprise, first attempt at booting up after removing said back plate, and my flashing LED stopped flashing, staying on without a flicker!
After hasty shutdown, reinstall of the video card, and power up, I was happily able to get Win and booted straight away! :)
So yup, it seems the back plate can be somewhat problematic... I'm happily getting this box set up to replace my current rig, which in turn will become my home media server.
Now, having 2 Fractal Design Node 804's running I7-5930's and a few 4onnes of TB as redundant storage, I think I'm happy.....
For now... ;)

Yes indeed, I did mean all non essentials were disconnected, only parts necessary to boot remained....
