Hi guys,
My kraken x61 was acting up and decided to try EVGA.  I have EVGA video card and love EVGA product.  At first test,  it's 5-10degrees lower, so my Kraken X61 was definitly dying (after 4 years)
Many questions:
Major questions
1- The fan curve does not work properly.  The default curve is supposed to be 100% fans at 60 degree CPU,  and when CPU is around 65%,  the fan speed is at 1100 (at about 50%).  (I can manually set to fan to 2200 and its loud, so everything is working fine).  I noticed that the CPU temp is showing 0 degrees ???? what.   How can the fan curve work if the tool does not fetch proper CPU temps!!!
2- How can I set my own complete fan curve. right now I can change 4 DOTS/pointers.  I can't change the maximum one, or add new ones.   I want 10+ dots?  Why have fan speed at 100% when CPU is only at 60 degrees.
3- No way to do a curve for the pump?  the fan curve clearly only mentions fans,  and pump is always at max.
4- On the fan curve screen,  just clicking on the 'enable custom fan control' button crashes the app.  Is it supposed to do anything?

Some minor issues
1-  I have to say that the tool is a little flacky.  Had to re-install.  Sometime it start sometimes not.  Does not keep settings all the time.
2- The task manager auto start item is called 'program' ,  EVGA could of named it properly  'EVGA Precision Startup' for exemple

Thanks for any help you can provide guys.

After couple of installs/reboots,  the tool properly displays CPU temps, and I can add a fan curve for it.  point 1- and 4- now work.
But the curve needs more dots.  I want my upper limit of CPU temp/Fan curve to be 60/75,  70/85 , 80/100.  I don't like the enforing 100% fan at only 60 degree CPU.

the software is locked to 100% at 60c. Great piece of hardware ruined buy crap software. i use the fan leads off the cooler to run an intake and exhaust case fans and run cooler fans off of motherboard so i have complete control of fans on radiator. Nzxt Cam saw the cooler as a kraken and allowed for custom fan curves but only mimium lighting control but since i have dialed my fans in my cpu temps barely hit 50c so i cant say if it overrides default or if its me not hitting the temp. i did find conflicts do not suggest having both software installed at the same time.

After a couple of days,  everything is working much better.
I don't use the custom fan curve, and simply let the fan be at 90% all the time.  BTW I replaced the LOUD/useless default fans with my existing 4 x Noctua NF-A14 PWM in push/pull.  Sound level is on part with previous Krakenx61.  Temps are very good.   8700K running at 4.9,  28 degrees idle, and 65 max when gaming.   Just ordered Liquid metal silver king paste (to try it out).
