They could copy what they want... good part of iPhone users love iPhone because it's Apple from USA and because his simple iOS. Realiability and build quality they can't copy. Even color tones are nicer on Apple phones no matter color they used. They choose nice beautifull, elegant Red for iPhone 7. Really look rich and expensive Red with taste. I can bet they spend a lot of time choosing color scheme and tone when they decide to launch Red Edition. In my country 90% of famous, rich as singers or musicians have iPhone. Mostly rich girls and singers use iPhone 7 Plus Gold or Silver. I'm sorry because they not made Space Grey any more... I would choose Space Grey again. Now Matt Black or Silver. Silver look nicer with Moshi iVisor Black Screen Protector.

Debatable.. I had 4 iPhone 4S's within 2 years. None were dropped onto the ground or into water. They had speaker problems, locking up problems and battery problems. I went to the Apple store to get them replaced, not refurbished from my carrier. My wife had 2 within the same time period. Neither were abused and both used cases. I wish all manufacturers would get rid of the camera bump. I can't stand it. I don't use a case since I moved away from the iPhone. Make the phone thicker to make it flush and fill empty space with battery, or more material so it can take a drop.

Ooohhhh yeeaahhhh and the crowd goes wild throwing their wallets at Apple.
I went through an I phone a year as my work phone. This was a phone that 95% of the time it was in my go bag totally unused. The other 5% it was on conference calls on my desk or charging.
My lg g3 and atrix combined have lasted almost 7 years and that's only gonna go up cause I still have no issues to speak of with my g3.
With all the bloat and poor optimization on phones anymore having the latest and greatest shows zero usability improvements compared to my rooted and debloated g3.
The only phone I an considering is more for development/research purposes because it has in excess of 6gb of ram. I don't remember the brand though some off the wall brand I stumbled onto on newegg.

yes Apple is a US based company that has all its products made in Chinese foxcon factories ( the gulag would be a better place to be than in one of those plants ). reliable you say, my google nexus phones all still work perfectly and they are made by LG, my LG G4 has never had a problem, iphones though the issues list is quite long, from buttons not working, software issues etc.... and the biggest kicker is Apple's opinion is that even though you paid alot of money for that iphone you dont own it, jailbreak one and see what happens.

Yes but important is that Apple plan everything to the last details. China is only physical power, like hands... Brain in is USA. That's difference, that's why he is so attractive and why color scheme are smart, elegant and choosen with taste. I don't say that we need to hurry to spend money on cell phones on every newest model, I'm first who like more to invest in PC because I use PC 95% and cell phone 5%. But every 2-3 years it's nice to change for new iPhone. Always have option for people with lower budget. I will not look iPhone 8 but when iPhone 7s become available and several months pass and people used on iPhone 8 I will easy to transfer from iPhone SE to iPhone 7s 128GB. He will cost me arround 500 on 24-36months and I will not care if Samsung G10 is available for 1000. No doubt iPhone is only difference on monotonous cell phone market, and Motorola was cool somehow. I used Motorola before 10-15 years only. They had thinnest cell phone, before 10-12 years. Same as these new cell phones. People loved him. Best thing with cell phones is because you can use him immediately and pay little by little monthly. But carriers are agressive, when they recognize you to pay always on time and have only one contract they try to make another or to sell you other cell phones, etc... Constantly send you mails, SMS, new catalogue, etc...

Such hate... But...I find Iphones boring as customizability is definitely not right out of the box as with android..which, for me is a lot of fun. My interface sure as heck wont look like everyone elses Sometimes the design (physically) can be cool however. Removing the phone jack still leaves me at a loss tho.

I wish that was available for iPhones. If the next one is waterproof I will probably buy it. I would like to see a metal back rather than glass though.

The Pixel phones I found highly unimpressive as compared to the Nexus devices. Hopefully they can get away from the sinking ship that is HTC. The pixel is a glorified HTC 10 and the new HTC 11 is not impressive either. I had very good results with my Nexus 6 and 6P, moved to a Note 5 and it wasn't bad either. My most recent phone is a Huawei Mate 9 which is by-far the best phone I have ever used. It averages 8 hours of screen-on time, performs well with a Huawei processor, and wasn't anywhere near $1K. With Android it's nice that you have a multitude of options so can get a BLU phone for $50 ranging to a $1000+ Samsung depending on your needs and wants. Just like with computers - not everyone needs a powerhouse phone - you wouldn't necessarily build Grandma a X99 / SLI system for browsing the web. It's also very easy to mod / customize most droid phones. Apple phones are no better built than the next phone, and when there is a design problem it's that you are using it wrong. Antenna gate - you were holding it wrong. Bending issues with the plus models - oh you aren't supposed to put in your pocket... How about the touch death on the 6 series from not using glue on the chip. Rumor is on the new iPhone they're going to invent OLED display too... The ONLY thing I will give them is that they avoid OS version fragmentation but that's because they control the hardware and the software.

I've always had Android. Going to try the iPhone for the first time in a few months. If I don't like it, I'll go back to Android in a couple years. My wife and kids like the iPhone. It may be too simple, like someone else mentioned. But I'll try it.
The devices work well but are kind of simple that apple makes. A great example is the Apple smart speaker that costs $349. You could get an Echo Dot and lets say the Sony GTKXB7BC and have $100 in your pocket while blowing away the sound quality the Apple speaker has.

I prefer Lg and Samsung, apple was great when Steve Jobs ran it. Tim cook is just doing dumb things to try and stand out. I find my self using exclusively Android now.

Of course they could use a finger print sensor under the screen but I really couldn't see the phone not having a front facing camera to give it an edge to edge display. Of course maybe I am missing something but it just looks to have a speaker on the front of it.
