hey everyone got myt GTX 1080 FE here in South Africa. So far loving it. Got my Ultrawide 2560 x 1080 and GTX 1080 = awesomeness.. To be honest 1080p is dead to me with my 4K TV on games i play with controller. but things like Doom i use the ultrawide. Anyway new to EVGA, always owned Nvidia cards although Gigabyte cards FX5600, GT9500m (acer), GTX 650 1GB OC and now the Jump. Im on Steam, Origins. oujisan2236

I love my Founder Edition 1080 GTX as well! Now if they could just get PrecisonX 6.0 fixed, as it is now my core offset settings will not stick, profiles won't save, and I have to constantly set the core clock everytime I log in. I installed PrecisionX15.0.13 or w/e first, not realizing a newer 6.0 version was released with the 1000 series cards. PrecisionX 15 worked GREAT, all my core offset settings stuck, my profiles saved, it opened with Windows 10 properly, but K-Boost didn't work.... At least the K-Boost function works in 6.0.3, this is a ++ for me as I hate the whole base clock/boost clock program.....  This is with just a +138mhz core offset, putting it at 1989mhz core clock, and a +400mhz memory offset or 5400mhz memory clock. Nice jump in performance from 770 SC Sli!

I finally got PrecisionX 6.0 to load with OS properly(although delayed) and core settings to stick via profile. Weird, I turned the voltage all the way up, with a +146mhz offset to core I actually scored lower than with the +100mhz OC to core?? That is so weird!! I did read that if you lower the memory clock -400mhz, this frees up more voltage to the core, ranking up a bit higher in 3Dmark Firestrike.

to ship it in and they will send me a card of equal value or better, Well this is what I ended up with. So explain Presision x to me. I'm still new.

I personally find afterburner easyier to use but they all work on the same basic's look up overclocking a GTX 10xx and that's what you will do it will also open the option to do custom fan curves . Do not select to apply on boot until you know it's stable as if you apply a very unstable oc you will have to get into safe boot to fix it
