New build, how to retail drive letters?

So this may be a dumb question...
 
Finally getting ready to do my new build (once the Rampage VI and i9 gets in stock...), but since I'll be retaining all my drives and other stuff...i wasnt sure how mapping of the drives persists through a new build like this. If I disassemble everything, put in the new board/cpu/ram, and connect all my drives and such back, will all the mappings and letterings persist? Since I'll be installing all new chipsets and drivers and all that fun stuff....I have no idea if that will really mess up things, and in which case it would be easier ot do a clean install?

    Windows may change the letters on drives around because the drives will be using different ports and controllers, but the system drive will remain C. You can always manually, easily change drive letters if the new install swaps them on you (it probably will).

    Thanks! Im worried about windows freaking out as I've got software installed across multiple drives, and if after the new parts go in it suddenly cant find any of the program file directories where they are supposed to be :)
