I'm running a Xeon E5 2690 v4 on the x99 classified. After updating the bios, the intel turbo boost stoped working. I had to re-flssh v2.03 to get Intel turbo boost to work again. It's very important as it makes all 14 cores run simultaneously at turbo speed of 3.5ghz.

I'm not that familiar with Xeon CPU's, but the non Xeon chips turbo boost typically only boosts the clock speed on a 1 or 2 cores when set to auto.  According to this http://ark.intel.com/products/91770/Intel-Xeon-Processor-E5-2690-v4-35M-Cache-2_60-GHz from Intel, 3.5GHz boost is on a single core.  Running all cores at 3.5GHz may require you to manually set all multipliers to 35.  Voltage adjustments would also then need to be made.

Thank you for the reply. Using Intel Turbo Boost sets all 14 cores on the e5-2690 v4 to the manually set turbo speed of 3.5ghz. I'm just puzzled why it stopped working with the v2.04 bios update. Downgrading to v2.03 solved the problem. I thought the bios update was just to support the new RGB led memory.
