It will be since no work units.  If we can't get more than 30K an hour it will stay that way.

Currently @#24 in the World [Extreme site]

looks like I could possibly move up 2 - 3 more spots - before getting passed by some of the big hitters that are starting to catch me

I care about the WU   The whole reason I Fold has nothing to do about my Position on the Charts, that is just a cherry on top

So, what I do not like is a Rig consuming up to 200 Watts & just sitting there with no work .... even when FaH server stats say there is WU to be give

Well, there are a lot of low hanging fruit in the github fah-issues tracker.

## v7.6.8
 - Remove bug submission dialog, point to GitHub instead
 - Use PUT instead of GET to access web session ID.  Probably more secure.

## v7.6.7
 - Make sure Web control gets opened when requested.

## v7.6.6
 - Fix ``slot-options`` command response header

## v7.6.5
 - Always allow 127.0.0.1 access to web server.
 - Update GPUs.txt even if GPUs are not currently enabled.
 - Instead of altering data dir in Windows, confirm removal.
 - Remove unsupported windows themes on install.

Still on 7.5.1 and chugging away again. I got home from work and 4 of 4 cards were busy so I fired up the other 6 cards and they have all been staying active. I thank the beta testers for that! Seems to be adding a good deal of fixes to the servers.

I see they officially release 7.6.9 but see there is already a 7.6.10 beta.  How do I find what changes were made for the new beta?
Thanks

Thanks for the changelog!
I just updated my 3 rigs to 7.6.9
Process I used was: (Windows 10)
Paused the WU
Shutdown [link=mailto:F@H]F@H[/link]
Installed the new version over it
Restarted the computers to do updates
Fired up [link=mailto:F@H]F@H[/link] and the work units picked up right where they left off! (I was under impression it would discard the workunit, guess I was wrong)

Yeah. I kept my data folder and upgraded to 7.6.9.

Working great. I've had constant WUs all day so far. Could the client be helping or just luck?

I think they have been fixing many small bugs along the way to the Covid-19 (SAR-COV2) preference.
The fah-issues is getting a lot more love lately and there is talk of opening up more of the client programming.
Here is a quote from the folding blog by Dr. Bowman
Looking towards the future, we are also working on a new Open-Source Folding@home software.  This new software will improve the performance of Folding@home and make it easier to get the community involved in its development.  By tapping into the massive amount of technical talent available in the Folding@home community, we believe we can produce better software with a more engaging and productive user experience and update that software more often.  More information about the availability of this new software will soon be announced on this blog.
-

They have also been updating Server versions as well.  Comments in the GitHub page suggest a move to round-robin collection/work servers with failed upload/download attempts.
But just looking at the Server status page they have sever WS server versions from 9.5.2 up to 9.6.8
I remain quite hopeful of progress.

Nice to see this fixed. I had a clean install of 7.6.8 refuse to start with any GPU slots configured until I realized it wasn't grabbing GPUs.txt. 7.6.10 is working great for me so far.

Cool GTX
I'm over 243 Million this month ... Might be time to give my electric bill a Rest & Shut down 1/2 of my Rigs ... maybe all of them for a couple of Days

FaH needs to Get serious about GPU Folding ....

Can only guess all the New Members are business Servers & need all the CPU work ?

I bet a lot of them bought either threadrippers or Ryzen 9s.
I am running 2x Ryzen 9 3900x and 3950x, and the work 2 of these CPUs do, is about as much as 40-50 older dual core laptops.

What kind of PPD are your 3900x and 3950x getting?
