I completely agree. It's a catch-22: people without an EVGA GPU who legitimately needs/wants one for personal use and potential scalpers alike are unlikely to qualify for the Elite Status, but people who recently bought an EVGA 30XX GPU would automatically qualify might consider scalping the 3080ti (or scalp their current 30xx card and replace it with a 3080ti).

i think the objective is if you buy 2 other things besides a gpu, but why on earth would someone like me spend money on the PC when i can't upgrade the gpu? with every day that passes i have less and less inclination to spend a single cent on the PC. I'm (like most i imagine) in PC building limbo

I bought a few PSU a while back... Say 2017 do they qualify?
If you never registered them then they should. It only says they need to be registered in the last 12 months, not purchased.

If you bought any EVGA product within the last year you can register your products and qualify for EVGA Elite Membership. Definitely beats the 100 post requirement.

Definitely - I became Elite back in mid-2016 when I signed up, thanks to a GPU purchase. Without that or the other hardware I've bought since then, I didn't even hit the 100 post threshold until yesterday.  Edit: Clarification

Post 6, 94 to go. Just Kidding. In all seriousness, I have a potential to get the 3060xc gaming due to the QUE "potentially" before the 3080ti que goes live. I already got a rog strix 3080 but I would not mind upgrading to a TI. Do I get the card if I can just so I can register it for the chance to get in the que?

Yeah, I really should have registered my gpu's back in the day. But honestly, I see this as a way to get more engagement from potential customers and pull them over to the brand. Yes, the spamming can be annoying but that will probably be temporary as we see a lot of those that get to 100 posts disappear.

How does it work to gain early access? Do you need your elite ID?
Once you're an Elite member, you can go to "My EVGA" at the top, then "Elite Home" from the dropdown.
Alternatively, use/bookmark this link: https://www.evga.com/member/elite/.
When new/eligible EVGA products are added, you can go to that link and the eligible item(s) will be listed there for you to buy, 24 hours before they're listed on the main page.
Thanks! I guess I've actually been an elite member for a while due to the product registrations.

So I was able to get a EVGA 3060 XC like last month, and I want to be able to get a 3080 ti so I can give the 3060 for my little sister's build. However, when I tried to register my 3060XC product which was definitely in the last 12 months, it said my product didn't qualify? Also I definitely put in the right serial number!
