My new work in progress. "Requiem" on Mod Rigs
all the essentials there. just need to finish the cable management.

Move around a lot so decided against a full water loop. Went for CLCs instead

Moved away from Asus this build and decided to go all EVGA, mainly because of the hybrid GPU reviews

Mainboard: EVGA x299 Dark
GPUS: 2 x EVGA 1080ti Hybrid FTW3 in SLI
CPU: i9 7940X
PSU: EVGA Supernova 1600w
SSD 960 Pro 2TB ( M.2 )

All stock atm with a fire strike score of 31228 will o/c when i finish it and get some spare time

Looks neat, but shouldn't be the hoses of the Hybrid radiators be at the bottom and not top, as a best practice?

Yep. Modded the case sometime early last year, took out what i didnt need to give it more room and powder coated it white. Was going to do an all white air cooled build with all Asus parts and a couple 1060 gpus but then moved and just didn't get around to it. Had to modify it again a little to fit the psu in the bottom compartment, added a couple inner brackets for some internal fans. and cut out the holes for better airflow in the front and top. Gave it some black mesh.

I actually like the look of the case and as I decided I wasn't going with a full water loop I decided to use it. Yes the rads should be at the front bottom but the case layout is very limited. I could move the top gpu rad to the top inner bracket I added but don't really need to. Unable to mount the 240 clc at the front so that has to go at the top.

Stress tested the cpu 12 hours over night and my cpu didn't go over 65 degrees and that's with the fan curve at 60 percent speed at that temp. Plenty of room to o/c if i feel the need.
