Just bought a SuperNOVA 1000 G1+ and received it today and installed it, but every time I power on and off the PC the PSU makes a popping noise like a switch being flipped, is that normal?

I talked to a live rep yesterday after posting this and he said that it wasn't normal, that it was a safety in the PSU being tripped and he has started an RMA.  Is this sound normal?

Sorry, even though I have had an EVGA account since 2005, I can't PM until I have 10 Posts.

As for the PSU, it has actually already been turned over to UPS, but is that normal for the PSU to pop when its turned off or on, the other rep seemed positive it wasn't?

Ugh, this is turning into a bad headache, after waiting a week to receive it just to have to turn around and do an RMA UPS have "We've incorrectly sorted this package which may cause a delay.", personally I don't like UPS they've tried to destroy several of my packages in the past, but I've never had them lose one.

I got my new PSU today, instead of the loud pop I was hearing form the first one, it makes a softer click when powered on and off.  So far everything seems to be working fine, the only problem so far is the PSU in my product page is listed with a 10 year warranty instead of the 12 year even though it shows the extended warranty was processed in my order history.
