I installed the Samsung drivers last night. I was running the Windows driver. After the install I ran PassMark Disk Mark. My numbers went from mid 27000's down to low 27000's. I re-ran right after and score went down to 26xxx's and then 25xxx's. I uninstalled the drivers and the scores went to mid 27000's. I had some overheating issues caused by user installation error. The forum helped and fixed the problem this morning. My scores shot up to low 28000's. I re-installed the drivers with ending with the same results. The first run was low 27000's followed up by two runs of low 26000's. Uninstalled, restarted, and re-ran with scores back in the high 27000's.

I am wondering if this driver is some how supposed to help with future reliability or something?

Interesting results. Unfortunately I did not run multiple tests. My main issue with the new driver was the system seemed to require much more time to get things done. Simple tasks would give my the spinning cursor icon where the task should happen instantly.

I am having some weird things going on also, even after uninstall. My fan controllers, pump controller, and Graphics fan setting have been erased or something. All setting I am having to manually input and then after a restart, I have to manually set back again.

edit: Graphics setting also

edit: removed leftover Reg entries. Set up controller for the fans and restarted. Fans kept they're values.

Are you clicking Apply and the Save after Each and EVERY Change in PX1 Right Click on Profile Number then Left Click until your see the Color Change?
Also My settings do Not work right if I have PX1 start with the OS, I want until I have the Desktop and then Start PX1.
I have it set to Load the Last Settings on Load but stopped having it minimize on startup.
PX1 is MUCH Harder to use than the Older PXOC Version was or even the Older Versions in general that is.

I am in the process of setting it back up. Looks like all I needed to do was restart a couple of times I think. I will try your setup. I have it load at startup. Then load profile.

edit: MSI removed

Very good question and also why are they NOT under Microsoft's Windows DCH Driver Program?

So, what your telling us all is don't install the driver?
