New Samsung 970 EVO Plus and can't install video drivers

I just purchased and installed a new Samsung 970 M.2 2TB drive on my EVGA Z170 FTW motherboard.  Was able to get Windows 10 Home upgrade installed on it and have run into problems with installing the drivers for my GeForce RTX 2070.  When I attempt to install the drivers it errors out stating that the driver is not compatible with this version of windows.  I have the same version of windows and video drivers on a 256GB SSD drive and everything works fine.  Thanks in advance

    Hi topflite66 and welcome to the EVGA forums!
     
    This error typically happens when Windows is not fully up to date.
     
    Be sure to run all the available updates (latest build is 1903) and then install the graphics driver from Nvidia.

    Thank you EVGATech_JoseR.  I will try that.  I have been hesitant to do too much downloading until I was able to get Norton installed, which I was having issues with also.  Thanks again.

    Which driver Number are you trying to install ?
     
    Your OS is 64 bit & you downloaded the 64 bit Version from Nvidia ?
     
    Yes, you are better off downloading on a different "protected" system if one is available
     
    Create Windows 10 installation media
     
    Better to install the latest Version - than to update an older Version of your OS

    That led me to resolve the issue.  Windows wouldn't update either so had to Microsofts Support page and had to use the Media Creation Tool to upgrade Windows.  Once that was complete everything started working.  Thank you both for the help.
