I would have come to suggest this, im with 3T and happy with it. Unbeatable price for what you get. Also im always recommending HTC phones by my own good experiences, although camera has been almost every time crappy but livable.

Personally, I go through too much battery not to have a removable one. On my V20 I replaced the stock battery with a 10,000 MAh version that included a case, and now I can go multiple days without a charge, or constant use for a full day. Non-removable batteries just don't work for me.

Iphone SE here.  Go with a bigger iphone next time. Android/Google just scare me now days, and the internet is just getting worse. At least with Apple servers/Apple Apps I feel like Apple cares about its system being solid and more secure....

September I believe?  I'm not a fanboy by any means...I still have an iPhone 4 because well, it works.

I have iPhone SE but for me is his size enough.
Off course next time I will buy iPhone 7s or 8s but for now is OK.
I will only use iPhone S in future.
Now we wait iPhone 7s, and off course who have more money iPhone 8.
For me iPhone 8 will be interesting with 8s, than for same money he will get better specification in same case.
God bless cariers we don't need to pay in cash at once whole price.
iPhone still have status of more expensive cell phone for rich people, that's funny because Samsung Galaxy cost more.

Update - had the Google Pixel XL for a few months now - love it, best phone I've owned to date, excellent camera, zero bloatware (bought it unlocked direct from Google store).

This was one of my biggest issues with new phones. They are all getting rid of the removable battery. In the end i decided to buy the same model phone i had an LG G3 since i loved it. And. New one was only $150 on ebay.

But if I had to choose a new phone the new pixel or maybe the high end Zenfone would probably have been on of my choices.

OnePlus 5 is what I have now and it works great. Very fast. 8GB and 128GB memory

I am incredibly late, but I've been looking at the OP5 for a little while, how is it for you after all this time?

Is the camera really as great as advertised?

I think the Pixel / Pixel XL has one of the best cameras out there. Not sure what they have planned for Pixel 2.

I meant for the OP5, sorry about that :p

But yeah the Pixel's camera is very nice, I love it. Pixel 2 is quite exciting too, I might wait for it to come out before I decide on what to upgrade to

Anyone had the Samsung Active phones?

Galaxy S8 Active
http://www.nextpowerup.com/news/37357/hands-on-video-and-images-reveal-samsung-galaxy-s8-active/

Was looking at the S8 and fit my narrow hand nicely, but the S8 has beveled sides. Been so hard finding a phone that fits short fingers, one handed, and just a phone not a laptop to ur ear.

If you can wait until Octoberish, check out the new Google phones, the Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2.
I have the Pixel XL now and love it. I plan on going to the 2 when it comes out.

I have a Samsung Note5 for work and it is nice.  I have a Moto G5 plus for personal and like it a lot.  That and I paid under 200 bucks on Prime day.  It is super fast, battery lasts forever and screen is OK plays e awesome.  It has Android 7 and plugs right into my Jetta so I navigate in my car with Google maps.  So nice.

I would go with the Nokia simply for the "retro af"-meme potential and that they're known to be reliably built. I don't know, I'd find it fun to use for awhile but if you seriously want to use one I feel it'd be better to try it out first and see if the screen is adequate as well as whether you can go without the real estate.
