This has not been mentioned enough.  The new Nvidia drivers save your custom voltage curve internally and it persists on reboot.  So you can go into PX1, run the scanner, apply, and then uninstall PX1.  The new Nvidia driver saves the profile internally.  Its nice.

    Been like that for years and why I dont have any OC software set to auto start with windows.
    Only time its been a issue was back when I had a 980ti and set the clocks too high and windows kept crashing forcing me to go into safe mode VGA mode and set a lower clock speed.
