I have just finished assembling a new system based on the H370 Stinger, i7 9700K in a mini-ITX case (CiT MTX-007B M), no graphics card.
When I turn it on, the CPU fan is spinning, but there is no video signal (using motherboard HDMI port).
Two potential issues come to mind:
1. The Power Supply comes with a 4-pin rather than 8-pin CPU power. At the moment, I connected the 4-pins (in the only possible way), and ordered an adaptor (to arrive in a couple of days).
2. I understand the Motherboard will require a BIOS upgrade to 1.04 to accommodate the 9700.

A. Could I use the system with just the 4-pin power connector?
B. How would I go about upgrading the BIOS when I never have a video signal, and thus cannot use the BIOS menus???

Thanks!

    A. The full 8-pin is required.
    B. Send the board in to evga and have them flash it for you.

Crowbank, Welcome to the EVGA Forums!!!

I actually just built a system using the H370 with an 8700 CPU. You will need to plug in a full 8-pin for the CPU and it needs to be directly from the PSU without the use of an adapter.
