anyone know how long it might take for me to get a notif for any of these and like is the air cooled 3080ftw ultra better choice than the 3080 ftw hybrid for long term?
I don't know where the 3895 is, but based on what the 3897 has been doing, I think you will have a shot at getting that one before the prices go up in April. It all depends on how frequently the cards drop. Unfortunately, drops are really inconsistent. Sometimes there will be two week gaps between drops, at least for some SKU's. The 3898 will probably be a longer wait. If you are not in a hurry I would go for the hybrid. I could have had a 3897 back in early December, but I decided to cancel my time stamp because I wanted a hybrid or HC instead.

The hybrid cards tend to be extremely reliable, even long term. Depending on how hard you push it, I wouldn't expect failure on it any sooner than an air cooled, as the hybrid cards commonly last 5 years+. They are well-made, and personally I would trust one. I had my 1080ti hybrid for about three years, and it was a problem-free work horse that entire time. As far as I know, the fella I sold it to is still happily gaming with it to this day. I'm sure he'd let me know if it died, lol.
You can also get a 10 year warranty through EVGA. It's pretty cheap for that term length.

Might have something to do with how the Port of Long Beach is also congested and short on both workers and drivers. We've been having lots of problems with our outbound cargo and containers arriving at our facility in Inglewood really late the past two weeks.

Yeah, but you are sitting on multiple cards that you have gotten from the beginning. Some of us have yet to even sniff the box that the card comes in. The frustration is mostly with the situation or Nvidia, not EVGA. People have a reason to be frustrated, in my opinion anyways.

Thanks for sharing this info. I also in the queue for this card through the online registration and is the one I am most interested in due to the balance of power and costs. I am in the step-up queue for the 3080 FTW3 as well since this was the model option that I had at the time. But I have a feeling at the rate of these cards being made available, I might get my chance to get a Kingpin before either option comes up.

Not sitting on multiple cards, only have the one - the frustration of folks is understood and I get it, just sayin', venting here isn't going to do much good. It is very much NVidia's fault & they're the ones that need to hear the bulk of these complaints, not that they give a flyin' crap.

Bummed that the XC's have not be dropped in a real long time. I guess I should have done the FTW's when I did my picks last September. I will keep on hoping they start to get dropped. Good luck everyone that has not been able to get one to this point.
