Some distributors aren't taking orders for a few models given the low availability.  So, while those models aren't discontinued per EVGA, they are darn near impossible to find in the wild (or for the queue apparently).  The effect is that they may have well been cancelled.

Good morning everybody.

Good morning bro. Probably gonna be crickets today huh

Maybe a straggler or two in the morning, but that is likely it for the regular series.  EVGA_JacobF mentioned on their stream last week and via Twitter that there was a possibility that the first Kingpin invite to purchase emails may go out to that queue today.  If EVGA is like many companies, they will have a "soft close" for the long weekend and close up all non-essential services by 3 pm or so.

Ya that makes sense. I am working today but am I actually? No not really. I'm already in Turkey Mode

I get that they can't make every sku at once, but the non-ultra gaming cards are not moving and EVGA is doubling back to other cards that have had multiple production runs already.

This is the only info about possibly canceled SKUs I've found:

https://twitter.com/mikel...us/1328310858892648448

Jacob said it's not discontinued and I believe him.  HOWEVER, it's impossible to "discontinue" a product they've never made...  So I can't tell if this is just the regular corporate PR wordsmithing designed to avoid controversy or if this is a commitment to actually sell this SKU.  Though after 2 months of no production that distinction is essentially moot.

Yes, the effect is the essentially the same either way, right?  Folks who have only signed up for Gaming skus should strongly consider signing up for the other models.

Saw it a few pages back, but I really wished they would have consolidated the queues if they knew they weren't going to be producing specific SKUs. We know that they have this all planned out, and its not like they aren't getting stock for specific cards. They are specifically making ULTRA cards, because profit. I have no issues with a company making money, just that they advertised multiple SKUs with no real intention to fill them. As a logical shopper, I selected the notify for the specific card that I was interested in, based on the information given to the community that stock is limited to you need to be prepared. I thought if I would have got notifications for multiple SKUs, that could have been confusing and potentially slow down checkout. Hindsight 20/20 that was WAY wrong.

Just wish they could have at least asked if we wanted to move to a queue that they were going to fill, and slid us in at a spot that was reasonable.

I also tweeted Jacob a couple days back asking if they are planning on filling any Gaming line cards any time soon and didnt get a response. Last time he responded to me and said "some were filled"

I get you're unhappy with how the queues have been moving, everyone is. But I truly don't think it was their master plan to have various cards and have people sign up to buy them and then never sell them. I just doesn't work like that. Why would a company spends tens of thousands of dollars to create and design a product and put into production to never sell it or to only sell a few of it?? Obviously they want to sell a bunch of them

I think a lot of people are putting EVGA at fault specifically when I am sure a lot of it is our of their control. Sure, it doesn't help they keep adding SKUs but its a business and they have to have multiple offerings to stay competitive

Hindsight is 20/20, you should've signed up for all of the queues for the 3080 (or 3070/3090) so you'd have an option when your number was called

For now, you shouldn't just rely only on the EVGA queue. If you really want a 30 series card and you need it soon (like for Cyberpunk) you need to start using online resources like NowInStock, or a discord or something to try and get in there. In the last 2-3 weeks there have been several opportunities to get cards from Best Buy, Walmart, etc at MSRP. If you don't need the card in a hurry, then eventually your number will be called

This is me rn. I hate the queue, especially the fact the 3070 XC3 black won’t move a damn second but like I’m in no hurry 😂 even though I just really want to get a graphics card!

So as a newbie to this whole thing, if I created an account now, used the auto-notify for the 3080 ftw ultra, i'm pretty much done until i get a followup from EVGA saying "Hey, time to buy the card" right?

I see the notify thing in the user panel for the card and got the email from evga saying i was registered for the auto notify.

If that's the case, then hope I get some news soon.

What product are you indicating that EVGA has never made? All of the queues have moved SOMEWHAT even if almost no movement, but that would indicate they have actually made cards for all of the available SKUs??

Yup, that is pretty much it.  Sign ups today, though, are unlikely to get an invite until a number of weeks into 2021.  Please check your auto-notify page to make sure the system recorded all of the registrations you intended to make: https://www.evga.com/community/myNotifies.asp.

This is for the 3080 FTW Gaming - SKU 3895.  There has been zero reports of anyone being able to get this card.  I'm around #50 in this list after signing up on 9/21.

I have added myself to the 3080 FTW Ultra list earlier this month, but frankly, joining the end of that queue now is pointless as I doubt my number will be called before the 4th of July, at best.

It's been frustrating so I finally broke down and bought a bot so I'll have a card at some point this winter.  Though, in the past week 3080 drops have been so sparse that even a bot can't buy a card.

The last significant drop of the 3080 FTW3 Ultra moved the queue timeline a little over 2 hours.  The card is through its launch day congestion of mass registrations.  It will slow down again around 10/5 - 10/6 when the queue process was announced, but otherwise it should be moving pretty quickly (assuming similar volumes and cadences of past drops).  In short, you should get your "invite to purchase" email for that card months before July 4.  I would think Feb 14 would be a good target date -- take with buckets of salt though...lots of rank speculation on that prediction.

I signed up for the XC3 gaming on 9/17 and all other sku's on 10/6. I prefer a card that is not overclocked because my gut feeling is that Nvidia effectively overclock the crap out of the silicon before they hand it off to the AIB's. The stock power draw and the lack of meaningful performance uplift, even when pushed to 400+ watts seems to indicate a tapped-out chip. So I'll take a stock-clock chip and be happy.

As we approach what will likely be a quiet day (or at least afternoon) of reflection, here is the state of the North American queues (bolded font represents movement from Tuesday morning’s summary; italicized parentheticals calculate the length of the movement):

     Card                                 SKU                      Auto-Notify Date/Time

     Ultra
     3090 FTW3 Ultra               3987                     10/06/2020 21:36:58       (+01:49:58)

     3080 XC3 Ultra                 3885                     09/17/2020 18:56:00       (+04:12:00)

     3070 XC3 Black                3751                      10/29/2020 06:09:41

* One spreadsheet reported a 4:10 am time stamp on 10/6.  While that is possibly valid, I am going to hold off adding it until we get confirmation.  There were likely very few North American registrations between 8:52 pm and 4:10 am PT, so it might be a valid data point.  We will know more on the next drop.

Thanks for being part of this community.  You have all made my wait feel less interminable, more humorous and, ultimately, much more hopeful.  I am grateful to and for you all.

Have a happy and safe Thanksgiving!  (Please consider this a belated Thanksgiving greeting to those in this thread of Canadian residence.  Be safe, eh.)

Hope so.  It seems like EVGA has been restocking other web sellers more regularly so I'll keep up the efforts in hopes of something before Christmas.  I don't think I need much more salt though, I feel salty enough lol

I'm really beginning to seriously consider simply buying an entire new PC just to get a 30 series card.  It's not completely an over the top idea since I've planning on building my daughter a new computer next year anyway.  Thinking to get pretty much the lowest end system I can find with a 3080 option to keep the cost down.  She's only 8 and mainly only plays Roblox and video chats with a couple friends so she doesn't need much.

I'm wondering though just how much availability the PC builders like CLX, NZXT BLD, iBuyPower, etc. might have...

There is no indication or confirmation unfortunately if the congestion is even over for the 17th for the FTW3 Ultra. It could go on again same thing for the 18th too, the 19th, etc.

Reality is (unfortunately) we do not know when it will get better.

All we can do is wish for the best, and people need to keep their hopes and dreams in check because so far it's mostly disappointment and delays after disappointment and delays since the beginning with no real end in sight...

My spot for the FTW3 Ultra is Sept 22nd 6:00am and I gave up on getting my card before February 2021 at least, and by that time the whole circus will start again because the TI will probably be out and I will go for this one instead.

Not really.  I would check your registrations (found here: https://www.evga.com/community/myNotifies.asp) against the summary that I drop at the end of each weeknight.  That will give you a good benchmark and should be among the best estimates out there of the head of the queues.  Good luck!

You could be right.  However, the original spreadsheets -- back before they were hacked -- indicated a HUGE drop off of registrations after the 17th.  That could be because the "second day" cohort were less likely to participate in a crowdsourced spreadsheet (probably likely) but the drop off was significant and we have seen similar momentum spikes from the 3090 cards between their launch day and 10/5 when the queue system was announced.

I will choose to believe in increasing card velocity and momentum.

I spend my time making a hell  of a lot more money than if I spent it looking for a card. I bought a MSI 3090 TRIO to hold me over. I paid a little extra but I can scalp it back when I get my EVGA, or lose a few bucks, but I have the card to use. I am also pushing my 2080 tis hard in my other racing systems. I have 3 rigs for me and friends and three systems for standing VR, so I need a lot of cards.

I now have to think about this to see if I will do this to step up to a 3080 or keep the 3090...
