I'm sure that we've all heard the rumor that nVidia is looking to ship Huge (comparative to thus far) amounts of gpu's in November.  I suspect that we'll see the list start to move much faster.

Please don't take this wrong if you are one of these people but why would you want a see through PC case? I know some are proud of their equipment but PC's are to be used, not stared at, Right? I am getting the 3090 FTW3 Ultra and if they had a version that was $50 less without the bling I would have requested a notification on it instead. I recently bought the Samsung Odyssey G7 32" that has lights on it and I turned them off. I just don't want a light show distracting me while I am on my PC. Same goes with overclocking. I didn't overclock my 5 year old PC until this year when I realized it was getting some age on it. I had a watercooler on it in 2015! When I did overclock it I found an article on how to do it and quickly moved on afterwards. And yeah I guess I could also be labeled as a nerd because I am a programmer. I love to build my own PC's as a hobby though but bling on my equipment is not a requirement.

Now where is my 3090 FTW3 Ultra

It is an established fact that RGB generates at least 1.5 additional FPS per RGB-enabled component.  Fact.

In all seriousness, I understand your point.  I was going to go plain vanilla on my build too...but then my kid started watching some YouTube videos of PC building and all of a sudden I am seeking components that include Unicorn poo.  I intend to change them all to a solid color -- likely white or red, but it was a compromise with the other gamer in the house.

Well, yes.  Presumably they are to be used, but there is far more to the hobby than just use.  For instance, my computer...I built the case completely custom out of wood and glass in a retro diner style, white, red, and black with chrome accent, and themed lighting, so it was very much with the intent to be stared at.  I like building things, and in this case, my build medium happened to be a computer.

It's been over a month since launch. Looking at the spreadsheet, nearly 4,000 card notifications have been added, and of those, only just over 250 cards have gone out (that's total across all types). That's just 6% supply vs demand a month after launch. Wow. Not good NVidia.

We don't know how many cards EVGA has shipped to retailers and how many they sell direct through their own store though. So while we all wait we can see that there is product, just not nearly enough. We don't know what is causing the lack of volume. Lots of speculation about it, but NVidia will not tell us, and AIBs will not criticize their supply chain. So, we wait.

I think they only launched it this early because of Big Navi. They knew the stock was not there and that manufacturing was behind. It was all an advertising scheme to be first. I am glad that EVGA is doing the notifications. I just wish they went one step further and published the actual queue instead of us having to update a spreadsheet that is not perfect. Still though if it was not for this spreadsheet I would have forgot about waiting on my card until after Christmas.

Funny.  I just built a home office pc for the wife.  After I discussed with her some of the cosmetic options, I was surprised that she preferred as much bling as possible.  Looks like a spaceship landed in her office.

Where is this spreadsheet I am seeing referenced a few times in this thread?
At any rate, I just signed up for the notification but also would like to know relative position if possible:
24G-P5-3987-KR
10/23/2020 9:35:52 AM PT

Errrr I believe list is still at launch day 9/17 around 8am.
Might be wrong but you should be over 1k behind.
Don't shoot the messenger :)

For a 3090, there are less than a 1000 people in the spreadsheet for each model.  We don't know how many people signed up for auto-notify that are not on the spreadsheet.  I would think you are in the 390+ range on the spreadsheet and probably in the 800+ range in total.  Sorry for the rough news.

I'll tell ya that I was at #28 on the 3090 ftw list when we first started and now I'm sitting in the 140's as more people have added their names above me. That pattern will likely continue as more folks get their invites and get themselves added to the list - granted the momentum doesn't wear out. At this point, I'll get it when I get it.

You a good dad (assuming you are a male). As far as the RGB component being faster you are correct They only put these lights on the premier equipment.

Yup. I was ~#25 initially, now I'm sitting at #117 lol. It'll happen when it happens... whenever that may be ...then I get to look forward to waiting for a water block.

Post a photo. That sounds pretty cool. However be careful with the wood and hot electrical components.

At least 3 FPS if it is Gaming RGB, and an additional 2 if the Gaming RGB is VR Ready.

If you have time more then money you wait.
If you have more money then time you do not wait.
Almost 2 years ago I barely survived a heart attack and have 3 stents in my heart arteries.
After that decide to wait for nothing. Simple as that.
In fact nvidia ignorance and silence irritate me the most.
Do you have idea how many people spent days trying to get elusive card. They could built a small town instead I guess. And next couple of months will be the same.

I love to build my own PC's as a hobby though but bling on my equipment is not a requirement.

Now where is my 3090 FTW3 Ultra

Post a photo. That sounds pretty cool. However be careful with the wood and hot electrical components.

I have cleaned up the build a bit since this, but here it is.  The motherboard tray is acrylic.

It is beautiful. It reminds me of In-n-Out which in California is a high, high compliment.

Thanks.  I think perhaps my favorite part of the whole build was the power and reset.  I couldn't find anything out there that really worked in the way I wanted it to, so I built a module myself.  It is pull plunger power and reset knobs.

Did the 3080 FTW Ultras stall, or is the list lagging?  Maybe some of the other cards got boost in this weeks shipments?  I was thinking at the current rate, I might have my card by 2nd week of November.  That would be perfect timing, if so.
