No problem. Corsair is a quality brand for power supplies, so good choice  Mine is Corsair as well.

Agreed.  Please follow the card's directions specifically.  Don't daisy chain the power cables unless there is specific language allowing such a set-up.

Leaks are saying AIBs are getting 10x as many 3070s as 3080s... good news, I guess. I'm telling you, November is going to be the holy month. I'm hoping a tons of people give up and just get a 3070.

I hope folks get what they want... for me, I've been wanting to upgrade my 1080.  I so want a 3080 before the Thanksgiving break.  I have notices in for all 5x 3080 SKU's, at 8:00-8:01am, Sept 21...  but the way things are going, probably not gonna see anything by end of year.  Nonetheless, I have a G2 inbound in November so I'll do the best to enjoy until my new GPU...

I mean with Nvidia finally doing ONE smart thing and pushing the launch back, they actually gave AIB's enough time to produce a decent amount of cards. I'm sure there will be a decent amount of stock at launch. It'll probably still all be gone in minutes though.

I hope every single rumor of November being "the month" that the shortages end, etc, are all true. But...I doubt it. Will probably just be another month of the same old thing...

 
I think if all is still lost between AMD's cards pulling demand and the 3070s, then there's really nothing left to hope for, lol. For what it's worth, this time the leaks actually make sense. The 3070s are on a smaller die and don't use the expensive memory of which there is supposed to be a shortage of... on the most basic level it should be far easier for Nvidia to produce 3070s, and on the higher business level budget cards always outsell enthusiast cards so Nvidia has far more incentive to make more of them than 3080s anyway.

This is why I think a lot of people are just going to settle for the 3070 and call it a day, or go for the AMD card that's near the 3080. Cascade effect... less laser-focused demand on 3080 and pressure release valves for the 3080 so scalping them becomes FAR more dangerous. The result should be more 3080 stock overall because of less demand, meaning more people get them, meaning less competition, lol.
