It looks worse than it is (relatively speaking). The 3080 FTW3 Ultra is already through 150+ places, so you are more like in 713th place. (Trying to put a bright spin on our suboptimal situation.)

As far as the spreadsheet goes, there has been ZERO emails sent out today for any card. lol, must be the ramping up we heard about.. 
..but there's still a couple of hours left in CA. 
Not true. Maybe they weren't added to the spreadsheet, but there were some in the morning; folks posted about it XX forum pages ago. 
Yeah, if one were to just look at the Google Docs spreadsheet, NO ONE received notification today for 3080 FTW Ultras... Which brings up an important point, IMHO -- all you folks who have been asking to be added to the spreadsheet, PLEASE return and post WHEN you got your notification and whether or not you ordered!!! Kind of defeats the purpose if all we do is add people to the spreadsheet that then don't return to let everyone know that the queue has gotten to them!! ...just sayin'... <...edited becuz I cant spel...>

I did notice on twitter that Jason answered the exact same question from someone, and he said that the 750 should be just fine with the 3080...I'll see if I can dig up the tweet ...and speaking of on-deck for the 3080 FTW Ultra, I'm (currently) #173 in the queue, and the last marked entry is #150, so I'm chewing fingernails down to the knuckles!!! :-) edit: Found it --

Are planning any overclocking or other funny business? If it is within your budget, I would consider trying to get a little wiggle room with a quality 850. Again quality is crucial. Best of luck.

There was a drop. I believe the line moved from 7:46 am on 9/17 to at least 8:10 am on the same day. 24 minutes plus of movement in one week (with one day still to go)...better than prior weeks as far as I recall....

Yes, but drops are much much smaller than number of new people reporting to spreadsheet.
Last FIVE days I dropped:
from 575 to 681 spot RTX 3080 FTW3 ULTRA
from 270 to 347 spot RTX 3080 XC3 ULTRA
So every day I am sinking instead climbing.
Leaning to go on ebay and burn $$ an pay double price just because I didn't push notify me button the very first hour on launch day.
You aren't sinking. Just think of it as more of the truth being uncovered. No one got in ahead of you, they were already there, you just didn't know till now. And please don't buy from ebay. Not only are you encouraging the scalpers, you will probably not get a warranty if you buy that way. Wouldn't it be nice to see the card in your "my products" page and if anything ever went wrong you could have it taken care of in a few clicks of the mouse?
