Are we still at 10:29:39 on the latest 3657?  I'm 5 min 59 sec off and getting increasingly annoyed at every email that comes in that isn't from EVGA (annoyed at the emails, not EVGA).

I keep seeing mine pop up I am about to mark alaskan airlines as spam for getting my hopes up lol

Huge movement on the Step-Up queue. I expected to wait a couple more months on my 3897. I got my next step email yesterday.

Well, the Force and the Fourth was with the 3657 crew today. But, otherwise, kind of quiet on the GPU front.

Clearly, @EVGA_JacobF likes to draw....

On my personal card watch front, given the continuing delays of the K|NGP|N Hydro Copper, I am beginning to think that the collected works of JRR Tolkien will pass into the public domain before EVGA invites me to buy my preferred card. By then will developers even make high fantasy RPGs anymore?

Regardless, we go again tomorrow. May Camel Day treat you well and hydrate the you-know-what out of our lines.

Have a great evening.

any specs on the 3080Ti chip yet, same chip? and is this why that has dried up the 3080s, just not that much performance room between a 3080 and 3090 imho

You're right, there isn't. How many SKU's do they really need to have? If I had to pick one, I think the 3070 series is the one that's out of place, and now I'm hearing about a 3070Ti. C'mon, that can't be true. If someone I knew was contemplating a 3070 I would encourage them to dig a little deeper and get any 3080 instead. It's not much of a price increase given how much is already being spent and they will be a lot happier with the purchase, especially later. The price jump from the 3080 to 3090 is significant, and if you're only going to be using it for gaming you are paying a lot for that extra little bit of juice. The 3080 is the best value for gaming. edit~.....  So is the 3060 for someone who is on a budget.

Yeah I'm not a fan of a SKU every $50.  the 1600/2000 series was a nightmare, even more so once the Super's launched.

Hoping the 3000 series doesn't follow the same pattern.  There's already too many SKU's to chase in hopes of trying to get anything with the shortages.  Further diluting the stack is only going to make it more difficult to obtain a GPU.

According to Jacob's twitter, the next batch of 3090 HC aren't going to ship until late May. That's over a month between drops, but others certainly have it worse. Here's hoping we'll see some significant movement when the time eventually comes.

Personally, I wouldn't expect more than 500 cards in the next drop so at this rate I'll be lucky to have one by October of this year...

The HC's are in the same boat as the hybrids..... only being made in limited quantities, which means that I would not expect them to drop more than once a month if you're lucky. The 3898 dropped a little more Frequently in January, but since early February there have only been three non-straggler drops with a 4-6 week wait in between. It was dropping about once a month. Last time it was a month and a half. If that trend continues, we should see another 3898 drop before the end of May. Possibly the middle of May if that 6 week blip was due to the lunar new year holiday. So, for those who are close to getting a 3898, I would be watching for it to drop the week of May 17 or May 24. It would be great if it happens sooner of course, but that would be a relatively quick turn around from the last drop on April 14. I wouldn't expect that to happen given that movement seems to be trending slower right now with all SKU's.

At this point, we can probably say that everything is being made in limited quantities. 3080 on all SKUs has seen one or two drops in the last month. 3090's haven't seen a drop in over two weeks. 3070's are also becoming increasingly rare.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the community spreadsheet ☺️. I hope you all get your card soon!

Obligatory major props to enewt for not only bearing the weight of tracking but also for being a steady source of entertainment and hope with the daily introductions and overall good vibes. I’ve lurked on this forum for awhile, and although I'm still about an hour out from the 3657, I figured I should get at least one post in now—I’m grinding the twitch streams for elite status, so this isn't a spam attempt. Let’s all hope tomorrow is Cinco de Drop-o!

Careful. Don’t wake the salty people. Got reported as spam for mentioning I made elite(I have like 150 posts now, so don’t even think about it) and I swear this thread has more salt than the Dead Sea.

Yeah, I get it though. I was hesitant to post at all, but I would like to contribute in the future and will obviously be reporting back when my 3657 number gets called.

**looks around checking to see if it's clear**Twitch streams aren't too bad, I'm two streams away from the 5k mark.

Congrats!  I just checked my local Microcenter's website, and they do have the 5900x in stock.  So if you're near one, it might be a good idea to check.  Now if they would just have a 3070 that I can afford in stock...

Be and Do in equal measure.  Yes, that includes being patient on getting the new computer rig completed.

What I find amazing is that very, very few drops on EVGA cards here to loyal customers of EVGA, but yet thousands of EVGA cards of the 3000 series are sold almost weekly on EBay! Where is everyone getting all these cards that are on EBay for sale (at insane prices)??? If there is such a “shortage” of cards, why is there almost an unlimited supply on EBay and Amazon every day?? It just doesn’t add up. If someone can shed some light on this, I would be happy to learn what is going on. I haven’t waited as long as many of you out there since September, but signed up in November after I sold my 1080ti (Big Mistake) but how can just a few EVGA cards trickle out here and there when there are sooooo many on EBay and Amazon being sold DAILY for stupid prices?? Sorry for the rant, and yes I am being patient but just confused is all I guess.

Wow.  What's the deal with the 3060Ti queues?

Is yield and demand so high on GA104 that there's not enough accidental 3060Ti's and no business case for nVIDIA to make more of them on purpose (by intentionally downgrading 3070's or 3070Ti's)???

Is EVGA being outbid by mining card manufacturers???

Did EVGA overcommit to retailers???

Are 3060Ti's being discontinued to make way for an upgrade???

Well, there are pallets of the things being sold on eBay - used EVGA ones, mind you - in anticipation of the whole Ethereum switch to proof-of-whatever. So at least we know where those went.

Where is everyone getting all these cards that are on EBay for sale (at insane prices)?

I'm sure your exact series of questions has been answered in this thread several times—but no one has time to sift through it. I'm no authority, but the way I understand it goes a little like this:
EVGA exists by making deals and contracts with places that sell their products. They can't just break all those obligations because the demand for their products joined SpaceX in trying to get to the moon.

Other retailers are to blame, as is the queue to a lesser extent. Scalpers use Bots to snag large quantities of cards as soon as they appear on retailer websites like Best Buy. Since they don't limit how many cards can be bought in a single purchase, one person can clean out the inventory before a ham fisted human gets even half way through the purchase process. As for the queue, don't think for a second that scalpers are not taking advantage as well. Some of these cats have dozens of business credit cards and different addresses that they use. I wouldn't be surprised at all if there are scalpers with multiple time stamps for the same card.

Obligatory major props to enewt for not only bearing the weight of tracking but also for being a steady source of entertainment and hope with the daily introductions and overall good vibes.

Obligatory...yikes; those sound painful.

big conspiracy theory here - what if nvidia stopped shipping non limited chips awhile ago? would make sense why there are so many 3060s going out - they were always limited. what if the flood gates are going to open when nvidia gives the greenlight after their makreting campaign is over. Can you imagine a miner getting a nerfed chip before official release date? they would be livid if it wasn't announced properly or happened before the "planned" date.
