I was mildly mistaken...there were 3 reports for a 3070 on Wednesday. Still not the stragglers we've come to expect after a day like Tuesday. I suppose it is always possible that they change their approach to things and just do major shipments one day per week, but that would indeed be a change.

I hope that it wont be the same with rtx 4000 series..... 
Someone above said that NVIDIA was not releasing the 4000 series until 2022? This came up when I was wondering what would happen to the people on the 3000 lists when the 3000's were not being sold because of the 4000.
There are so many factors that will determine RTX 4000 release date. Nvidia is playing big on many fields, and I think it will mostly be determined by AMD's RDNA 3, then comes production possibilities, and so on.... I don't see that demand will be a problem..

I am at the point where I'm hoping their shipping department is ok.

True. This is why when they send out a whole bunch of cards, we get just a handful of reports. That said, it does seem that some percentage of people in the queue are reporting back here as there's usually some indication via this thread, twitter, reddit, etc. that drops have occurred on any given day. We don't really know how many. We just usually get some feedback that they're happening. I think a lot of it boils down to people having waited for SO long to get their notification that they place their order, and then are excited and feel an urge to tell people about it finally happening. Some of them end up here. That's why it seems strange to have such a large quantity of reports from last Tuesday and then almost nothing (spare those 3 3070 reports) since then. I'm not saying "omg the sky is falling" lol. I was just saying it is odd and abnormal. There have been plenty of stretches with minimal notifies going out, but there's usually...something. Additionally, the notify button for the Z590 FTW went live Thursday for Elite members and Friday for everyone else. Jacob has since said a couple times that they wouldn't ship any last week, but would ship them this week and probably not Monday (today). It all just sort of points to them knowing they can't ship all the normal things for a few days. So either they didn't have any things to ship, or they didn't have anybody to ship the things. I don't know the answer. I just know what I've been reading in this thread for months and when something looks just a little bit odd.

I won a gigabyte 3090 last week, only the second time I"ve ever entered, with a mobo that I actually needed. But the package is now missing and I am trying to deal with the claims process so I can't really say I won >.<
I hope this gets sorted out quickly. And I really hope my gut feeling on what happened is wrong.

Which issue are you referring to, there's been more than 1 issue with the 3090 FTW3... The failed cards relating to the 2014 serial number I believe are fully resolved. The power delivery ~500W on OC BIOS, is more of a enthusiast complaint vs a true issue (although that's easy to say when it is not my card). I believe that is also being resolved, but I would check the community for better information than what I have heard/read second hand.

I mostly meant the broken cards, but i would like the power delivery on the OC bios to be fixed as well. I can deal with broken power delivery on the 500W bios(it can probably be fixed w/ a firmware update), but not a broken card. So happy they fixed that. I have 3 plans for a 3000 series card: 3080 queue, 2 trips to microcenter, and 3090 queues(Kingpin & FTW3). I (hope) at least one of these works! I’ll be dammed if none work. The 20% coupon from the elite wheel helped justify my decision to enter a 3090 queue. Now a 3090 is the price of a 2080 Ti, and that I can afford ($400 more than 3897)

Actually, it looks like most build because everyone is having to wait months to get waterblocks and parts...my trx40 aorus xtreme threadripper build is just sitting on top of my desk right now on a mobo tray...lol....that is weird though that they selected that photo...I'm sure everyone looking at it just wishes they had a graphics card

That card has been delayed soo long it might as well never come out. I was originally shooting for 3080, now I’ll take 3090. 3070 is underpowered for my use case(high fidelity vr). Valve Index baby!
