    Mine is going in a Dell OptiPlex 755 Desktop Computer.

    they work great in SFF oem computers, workstations when you need more than the intel or amd cpu can give, HTPC setups. these are the cards that make nvidia the most money, and probably even evga. ever wonder why evga still sells a pci and a agp card? because the market still has demand for them is why.

    You're kidding or trolling right?  No liquid cooling company would spend resources designing a block for low-end GPUs.  You could try a universal block but that's up to you.

    I think the reason why is the needs for some people are a lot less then others. While it wouldn't be amazing at like StarCraft 2, Diablo 3 or Minecraft it would be able to handle It better then built in graphics. Also World of Warcraft probably would run ok on this other then raiding in a guild. Public raiding it would do great for since in public raids someone is probably standing in the corner of the wall jumping up and down for no reason.

    card was going to go in a small rig I'm thinking of building for my son ... mainly webstreaming (youtube and such) as well as a couple games (he's 11)
     
    cooler is indeed a deepcool captain 360 ... 
    I need to upload a few more pics as I have rearranged a few components and changed the fans

    Can someone please measure the card for me.  The product page once again appears incorrect for a card.  I highly doubt from the pictures, it is 5.7"

    The NVIDIA website states Height 4.72 x Length 6.68 inches and before you shoot me down take a look at NVIDIA'S Product image here which to me looks the same in length as EVGA's 1030.

    That is actually helpful - thank you!!  I do believe the 6.68" number is more correct than EVGA's listed 5.7"

    Yeah 5.7" is the length of the 1050 and that is inline with the end of PCIe hook securer tip.

    Just please tell me that gt 1030 would work on my potato pc or not
    My pc is an Optiplex 755. (Small form factor)SFF.
    Its power supply is almost 300w (275 actually).
    So plz help me in this situation I sjould buy it or not

    Hey bcavnaugh how is the 1030 for folding?  Does it get at least 50k ppd?  Or have you tried yet hehe :)

    I Never tested for Folding or Crunching.
    I got it for a Better Server GPU on a Dell Sever for Testing and old Weather Station Server.
    I do have a GTX 1060 3GB Card and tested and to low PPD for Folding but works well for Crunching.
