So I got this in today. Hooked it up to make sure the pump works etc. Come to find out. This has a new Digital LED 5v cable header at the reservoir. I was hoping I could have run this cable and use my Corsair Commander Pro Hub and tada. But to my avail, it has the old LED 2 or 3 pin connector type, forget which. Meaning that either I find a male/female cable to connect to the Res then to my hub, or wait until EK comes out with their EK 51 connector HUB thing they are making.

Does anyone know of any website that sells such a thing? I'm thinking since the new cable is digital, than even if they have a cable, it isn't going to work

Close, I think. The end coming off the reservoir is a 4 pin female cable. I need a male to female that will plug into this buckets

It's a 4-pin female but one is not being used.  This is what EK's specs say on it.

That EK adapter cable will basically convert it to the other standard RGB end but with only 3 pins working since one is blocked as stated by EK.  Than you use the Corsair adapter cable but need to figure out what Corsair can handle.  I forgot what the numbers were but it doesn't help that they don't display this kind of vital information on their product's tech specs.  You have to go chasing to find that info but I do know that most of that Corsair RGB products are addressable so I have a feeling this might work actually.

That cable listed is for analog rgb is it not? The new reservoir is D-RGB 5v. I don't think thatll work

But having the LEDs is  no issue at the time being. I'll just wait till EK releases their Connect 51 Hub and it'll have straight hook up hubs, that why i dont have to splice and hot wire a bunch of **** together to make it work

    You got this? https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-quantum-kinetic-flt-360-d5-pwm-d-rgb-plexi

    https://www.ekwb.com/shop/EK-IM/EK-IM-3831109819807.pdf

    Page 10 manual

"Plug the 3-pin connector from the water block’s D-RGB LED light in the D-RGB HEADER on the motherboard. The LED will work if the pin layout on the header is as follows: +5V, Digital."

It is addressable RGB 3-pin, Signal, Power, Ground (order is probably different I am just listing what the wires are)

Old style is "analog" RGB 4-pin, Red Green Blue Ground.

The Corsair cable GTX Jack listed is one you would use.

Yes that is the reservoir that I just got.

So I just get that corsair adapter cable, and just match up the corresponding ends and then plug that into the Commander Pro Hub LED port?

Sorry, I am just new to the LED side of things

Depending on the RGB cable that comes with the Res/pump combo, you might need both cables I linked.

That's what I have no clue about. I've talked to EK support since I made the thread, they said that the Corsair Commander Pro uses the wrong pin layout and it wouldn't work. But their own Connect 51 has what they use as a standard. So I might just wait and get that instead. Has more huh ports as well, as I'm only using the Link to run fans

Don't panic... what has been suggested will work!

The cable linked by GTXJackBauer is correct cable you want to to allow you to connect the res/pump to your Commander Pro. I have a Phanteks D140 distribution plate that has a 31 LED addressable RGB strip that I control via a Commander Pro using that exact cable (a similar cable is also available from ModDYI) . Anyway, here are the steps to achieve RGB Nirvana:

    1. Count the number of LEDs in the EKWB strip and write it down (if your memory is better than mine, you may be able to omit the writing down part).
    2. Connect the cable that came with your res/pump to the strip.
    3. Connect the PirateDog Tech cable to the EKWB cable (extra points for covering the join with heat shrink to prevent it accidentally coming apart).
    4. Connect the Corsair connector to one of the lighting channel ports on CoPro (if length is a problem, the Commander Pro comes with 2 x 3-pin RGB extension cables).
    5. Open ICUE and select the CoPro.
    6. Click "Lighting Setup"and define the RGB element connected: As the CoPro expects Corsair products, you need you'll need to choose a multiple of Corsair RGB strips which are 10 LEDs each - i.e. if the EKWB strip has 31 LEDs, set the number of RGB strips to three. This only really matters if you have an effect travelling along the strip, set too many strips/LEDs and there'll be a delay before it repeats but try and keep the number of LEDs close.
    7. Done! Now you're ready to play with lighting effects for your res/pump.

Sorry, a little late here but I was wondering if you got it working?

I recently got a FLT 120 reservoir which is also D-RGB from EK and I wanted to plug it to the Corsair Commander Pro.

please let me know, and if it works properly!

    Thank you.
