All they apparently did was enable a few cheats on the driver (usually reserved for Quadro cards) and enable them for Titan products.

Exactly the same thing that was said when the first Titan came out. They said DP was disabled on the 780 and 780ti through drivers. They could enable this on every card, through drivers, but have no reason to make every card capable of quadro level performance.

Rig #1 Has 2 Titan X Pascal cards.
Rig #2 Has a Titan Xp Pascal card.
 
I put this driver only on the Titan Xp rig.  For Folding @ Home, this card is now putting up about 10% more PPD than the Titan X cards with the older driver (whatever the last release was before this.)
 
I'll have to let it run for a few more days for "conclusive" evidence, as the PPD fluctuates based on the WU type...

Well I have had a lot of good luck with these drivers on my Titan.  I also double confirmed, this is Titan exclusive update (thank you AMD for making NVidia do that).

There are no benefits on 1080 Ti.

Yes, seems they were serious when they said for Titan xp.
I installed a few days ago and since then done a bit of gaming including Civ6 dx12, plus usual surfing and email. And of course several runs of 3D Mark FireStrike Extreme which I do for each and every new driver (3 x to get a fair average.).
After all that I have noticed nothing better or worse, as if I hadn't changed drivers.
 
Good for the Titan xp guys though..I had hope for a few crumbs of goodness on the 1080ti and 1080 (Both of which I own and run) but so far nothing at all. At least it doesn't break anything, which considering a few NV releases since Pascal is actually worth mentioning!

Has anyone tried to watch Netflix in 4K with any driver from 384.76 up to this one ? They implemented the ability to stream it via 10 series cards w/a minimum of 3gb of memory on the card . Wish they didn't leave my 9801tias' out of the mix...

So the beta driver is just for the Pascal based Titan cards and not the Titan X Maxwell if I am reading correctly. I would love to get a jump in Maya and ZBrush again. Lately the drivers have been lagging Unreal Engine 4 Editor, Maya and ZBrush and I just got my Titan X Maxwell when it came out give or take a month.

Well that's a downer. That extra boost of performance would be nice but least the "old" Titan X still does a good job.

This driver has been is beta status for longer than I remember in the past. Wonder why?

Good stuff! I have also been using this driver for over a week now and it works great! Just curious why it's keeping Beta status for so long. Perhaps they want to add some more goodies for those of us without Titan cards! Or is that just wishful thinking?

Nvidia mite be worried what AMD's new cards will do. and now they might wan't to tweak  all they can with driver updates to boost all cards
