Yesterday i received my new evga 2080 super and was very excited. I upgraded my pc from an r9-390x along with a new motherboard and cpu to go along with the new graphics card.
After testing out games i immediately noticed that games were running the same if not worse then the old card. After doing some digging i found that the gpu temps were around 60°c idle and when i tried to game they were hitting over 90°c without the fans turning on.
I installed the evga precision x1 software software to try and turn it on there but no matter what i set the fans to they never spun and the software still said 0 rpm.
Is this a faulty card that i need to rma or is there something else that could be done?
Thanks for the help
