Never had an issue like this before.  Have to hard reset 4 or 5 times a day now even when just looking at Email and not Gaming at all.
No changes in build. Only changes were Win 11 ( release version ) and new Drivers for Win 11 I got here.
My Build. ( nothing overclocked )

    Really?
That's all you have?  WOW!  So helpful.
Can someone more knowledgeable and serious please reply?
( Have to screenshot this one as an example of the kind of " Help " EVGA long time customers can expect after purchase.)
PS I have been here even longer than you. Never seen such a snarky blow off to a request for help .

    1. Recheck your power management settings and make sure there have been no changes
    2. Reload your motherboard chipset drivers
    3. Reload your video drivers using the latest drivers from the NVIDIA website. If you are unsure uninstall and reinstall the drivers.

Other options would be to test all the outputs on your gpu to see if they all have the same issue. Try a new vesa certified dp cable. Try a new hdmi cable. Try different drivers. Test with another gpu. Try your gpu in another system to see if the issue will follow your card to another pc.

    Thank you for your reply.
I updated the MOBO chipset drivers to the Win 11 set for this unit.
I will do another clean install of the GPU drivers and check the Power management settings.  I have heard some changes without people knowing it.
    Will get back with results.

Going back to Windows 10 seems like a good troubleshooting step, in my opinion. Every day the video card gets older. Is it failing, or is the new OS triggering a problem? What's the easiest way to eliminate the most recent change as the cause? Revert the change.

OP is super bothered by something. Seems overqualified for this forum. Perhaps the OP should try the reddit, twitter, or youtube communities instead.

I agree with going back to Win 10. Mainly because Win 11 is new still and will have bugs that will need worked out. If you have been a IT guy for 25 years you have to remember Win Vista. It had so many issues that it was short lived. Many people dumped it on systems that came factory installed to go back to XP.

So now give more details. Did you use a new hard drive? Installed over a existing Win 10 install? Change from a Sata to a NVME? I run Win 10 because I have too. Not because I want too.

If you have a extra hard drive install Win 10 on it and see if the problem goes away. If so maybe look at what you have installed on Win 11 and see if there is a conflict with Win 11. Let your 25 years of IT help you solve a problem. Not give you a reason to argue a suggestion to help.

Did this.  Gsynch was on , I don't use it , I turned it off.
    2. Reload your motherboard chipset drivers  All done again with the newest set for this mobo and W11
    3. Reload your video drivers using the latest drivers from the NVIDIA website. If you are unsure uninstall and reinstall the drivers.
Did this again with Clean install option.

Slight improvement. Now it happens 4 times a day instead of 8 or 9 so we are getting somewhere.
It happened as I was coming here to post this but it was different.  The screens locked but didn't go black with the Fans at full until I hit the reset button.  Then it took a hard reset.

Why were you stuck in the lower echelons of the tech industry for so long? That aside,  given YOUR description of what YOU claimed you did and the ONLY changes being UPDATING THE OS and the driver, then logically a ROLL BACK not a PANIC NUKE... (as an expert you know that is available and painless) to Windows 10 is a logical first suggestion. I mean, given YOUR description of YOUR issues.

I've seen black screen crashes when I update the driver without using DDU first.

Outside of that, having been working in the electronics industry for 40 of my 60 years of life, reverting to
a previously known good state is not bad advice.

You still talking to me a full day later??  WOW!! Talk about triggered!
You Really won't like what you are about to hear now even more.
Ok I get it , this  isn't a help forum at all.  Since no one actually knows any helpful information and only One single person here actually tried to help.
The " Mods" here are worse than trolls you see in a kids videogame.
If you can't help just say I DON'T KNOW

    Lower echelons?

Started as A tech... went into regional management and now..........

I OWN THE COMPANY and my LOWEST paid engineer makes more in a month that you make a year.  We support over 1600+  endpoints in Major Medical clinics and Hospitals in the state.
When people ask us for help  we GIVE IT.
We are experts in Medical IT and Security.
NO ONE is an expert in everything so I KNOW you do not know much about IT at all because anyone who does KNOWS that.

I came here to talk to EXPERTS in EVGA Products.
Apparently that was a waste of time.
You  need to look up Triggered because it is obvious that you are.
    Just go away now....

    I BET you can't!

This has gone sideways way too quickly. Here are my impartial and well intentioned 2 cents on it:

First cent: I don't know Sajin personally but I know he always tries to help and lots of the time he has valid point. Others have already pointed out what about his reply makes sense so I won't be repeating what they already said. What I will say though is that it would help if you take a deep breath and not jump into heated assumptions.

Second cent: I've been in IT dealing with hardware and software for -much- longer than your 25 years. Some things I've learned along the way are: 1) Every new release of something is likely to end up with things broken that were working fine before, it takes some time after release for things to improve and 2) in place upgrades can go sideways.

So you need to ask yourself did you do in place upgrade and, if yes, do clean install and see if you still have same problem. If problem goes away you know what triggered it, if it persists it is time for you to open tickets with vendors involved (EVGA, Microsoft, Nvidia) as there is nothing owner's forum can do in that case.

They are. Particularly annoying when they occur concurrently with making another change which can mislead you.  Couple days ago,  I'd reinstalled a Centurion 7.1 setup. Things looked fine. Put it to sleep. on resume... boom... black screen. Then boom... boot loop to BIOS... then BEEEEEEEP.... hard lock on boot... what the heck.  Seriously though I'd blown something up. Did full BIOS reset finally got into the BIOS... boot drive is missing... long story short... just a bad SATA cable. Fortunately, despite it being, 1am I didn't do anything silly and I have a new CMOS battery and a freshly redone BIOS save.  Even though it looked bad when it would freeze hard on boot... replaced the cable, bypassed the helpful Windows 10 repair screen.. and as if nothing ever happened.

I've made one post to you, of factually helpful advice based on your claims of what you did. Now, based on my singular post, you're claiming I'm triggered for some period time. I retired as the manager of the Assembly and Test division of one of the largest semi firms on the planet, son. If you're embarrassed about seemingly being a noob, well you gave that impression by being helpless over a simple issue your own words give us the most logical response: ROLL BACK. My bad, son. Angry and immature is no way to go through life.

Well this is a user to user forum where people who make 12th of what you pay your janitor makes try to help others on their own time and dime.
All I can think of is when the screen goes black check and make sure you didn't pull the plug from the wall.
If you really want to talk to an expert call customer support. https://www.evga.com/support/custsupp.asp

I would try to help even more but all I know about IT is I hated the movie.
Hate clowns, I hate clowns in sewers that float. We all float down here.  Screw dat.

At this point he has more experience and "ownes" his IT business and no one but one has offered help. So I am at the point of he is on his own. 28 years in my field I know a damn lot but am Always open to listen to what people say when I ask for help. So let this.thread just fade away when many have tried to help a IT expert.
