Netflix will be present at E3 2019 to discuss their upcoming games

etflix has confirmed that they plan to appear at E3 2019, hosting a panel called "Bringing Your Favorite Shows to Life: Developing Netflix Originals into Video Games".  

On July 4th, Netflix plans to release Stranger Things 3: The Game concurrently with the release of series 3, with plans to release the game on PC, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and on mobile platforms. Stranger Things 3 will be shown at E3, but Netflix has confirmed that they have "more to come" suggesting that they plan on giving more of their shows the videogame treatment.
 
I guess this is another way for Netflix to generate more revenue

    This sounds like an incredibly bad idea. Gotta be better than BioWare lately though.

    I think it will pay off for Netflix. The game trailer has a classic gaming vibe to it that I think will work with the Stranger Things taking place in the 80's. Of course the graphics are well beyond Dig Dug from the show they played last season at the arcade. I guess it comes down to the price Netflix charges for it since I am guessing a lot of people would pay for it if it's cheap.
     
    I bet if they did a D&D video game based off of Stranger Things  it would also do very well but that would take getting an agreement to get the rules and fleshing out the adventure more.

    I wouldn't be surprised since it's a hit series that could see tons of people interested in the game if it's cheap enough. While it might not look that great these types of games can make a very good profit because they don't take a huge staff to build and don't cost a lot.
