Ok, I hate to re open a thread which isn't exactly nice to do, but for anybody reading this I accidentally had a misconception about the GTX 750 Ti FTW.
Originally I thought that because the TDP of the GPU is 55 watts at stock, that meant the ENTIRE card was only using 55W max. But in reality, TDP does not = maximum power draw. The maximum power draw of the gtx 750 ti FTW is actually 85W (more than the 75W PCIE lane can supply). So even when your running stock you are still using the extra power from the 6 pin connector. This is something I mis-interpreted and got pretty frustrated about since I originally thought I was plugging in the 6 pin connector for nothing.
So anyways, I thought I'd share that. AND please, if I'm wrong about this please let me know.
