Anyone else think that Konami should really be pushing to make more Castlevania games! Especially since the newest Castlevania Netflix Series is amazing and has me craving for more!

Have you tried Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night?
A Castlevania game in all but name from Koji Igarashi, the man who used to make Castlevania games in Konami
I'd prefer if Konami licensed out the franchise to another developer. I don't think they have the same internal talent to do justice to their back catalog.

konami now works only on pes and gatcha and mobile crap

Yeah its very unlikely they will return to development in a big way. They don't see games as their business anymore really. They focus a lot on their attention on their casino's and fitness centers. Guaranteed revenue!

Symphony of the Night on the PS1 is really the one that put it on the map. The previous entries were good as well but this is the one that blew up and set the standard. Its the sequel to Rondo of Blood which also had great art but that one never really made it out of Japan until the 2000's. Aria of Sorrow on the Game Boy Advance was also excellent but the graphics would be a little more blocky.

The version they put out on the Xbox 360 was quite faithful from what I remember. It may still be backwards compatible on Xbox one and Series X but I don't know how that one transferred through the various storefronts

And one quick wikipedia search later: "Symphony of the Night was re-released as a "PSone Classics" title on the PS3 store" "The Dracula X Chronicles versions of Symphony of the Night and Rondo of Blood were re-released for the Playstation 4 on October 26, 2018 as part of the Castlevania Requiem compilation"

They should definitely capitalize on the popularity of the show, but they shouldn't half ass it. They could easily do an open world, or rpg with all the content/lore they put out in their series.

I savored my most recent replay of Castlevania: Curse of Darkness. That game makes Pokemon fun for me. Lords of Shadow is my GOTY for 2010, and I think the Castlevania Netflix series is going to be the best homage to the franchise for a looooong time.
