Colleagues, help me.How to buy power supply for EVGA 1080ti sc
I have a cheftec 750W now, but he is already 8 years old, his 12V line has only 18A which gives 216W on this line and when I play off my computer.
What to buy 650W or 750W and what.
My types:
1 - EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G2 650W
2 - SeaSonic PRIME 650W
3 - Corsair RM650X 650W
If 650W is not enough, then I am considering the same models but 750W.
Help

650w is plenty. I'd get the 750w though just for extra head room. I'd go with the Seasonic 750w Prime.

I understand that you are suggesting that for a quiet head to buy 750W
And what about the EVGA SuperNOVA 750 P2, 80+ PLATINUM? Are you on the same horizontal, is it weaker or better?

Looks like the EVGA SuperNOVA 750 P2 is a great psu as well. I just prefer Seasonic.

I'd go with the P2. P2's are well made Super Flower builds.

The G2 and GS series have been plagued by problems based on consumer reviews. And saw some issues on this forum, as well. Stay away from the GS series, in particular.

    Thanks gentlemen for help
I now have two power supplies in my head:
    Super Flower Leadex Platinum 750W
    and
    SeaSonic PRIME Platinum 750W
And ... I'm tempted to be at Seasonic because in reviews it gets 1-10 points in 10 points

If you have they money, go with SuperNOVA 750W P2 or the Seasonic Prime 750w.

Sajin, I have the same, from here my replacement of the power Chieftec 750-14c (10 years ) supply because on the + 12V line I have only 18A and this gives 216W, it is very little to 1080Ti.The computer in the 3D games and in the tests is restarting.Green card not twisted at rest 30 *C in the players does not exceed 50 *C I hope it's a power adapter and not a card. For your advice, Saijn bought Seasonic Prime 750W and see if it helps because it has + 12V lines -> 62A. Of course, I also ran pure graphics drivers and did not help.

Ah, I forgot to add that as I change the resolution to 1440p or 2160p I also restart. Does the power supply also have an impact on this?

Depends if the card is clocking up when you change the resolution.

I bet on 99.9% that me is a power supply fault because 1070 FTW2 was fine. I'm sure you know how to mount a wonderful Seasonic if all is well

It's possible you could be overloading a rail since your psu has multiple rails. A 10 year psu definitely needs to be replaced too.

So many years ago, they made power supplies with multiple lines + 12V, now better one and stronger, especially for OC. Now I read about these + 12V lines and with the graphics card I should immediately buy a new power supply. Man learns his whole life.
Thank you very much Sajin for your help
