Has this video card ever worked in a different motherboard?  Or has another video card ever worked in this particular motherboard?

It's probably just an issue with your GPU if other GPUs have worked on your board.

Sounds like the card is failing if this is occurring on multiple boards, please contact our support team in order to look into this issue further for you.

This january I had the white VGA LED come on (X570 TUF Gaming Wi-FI and GTX 970 FTW), and then poof, no output all of a sudden. This very likely means a dead card. Open up the card if you're comfortable and see if there are any obviously damaged components (melted polymer, burn marks), if not, then you will have to slowly follow step to fix it (if its fixable).

I have a thread set up where I'm trying to fix my dead 970, and following are the steps I'm following to try to fix the card:
    • re-install firmaware (instructions in my thread).
    • Bake GPU if above fails (last resort that will only get a few more months out of your card IF successful).

I would recommend reaching out to EVGA support, they were super helpful with my RMA on my 2060, so this should be no issue if you are under warranty!

Driver, PSU, and dead GPU are most likely culprit

You might want to get a cheap CPU for that socket that has integrated graphics to help you troubleshoot.

GPU, mb, driver may be the cause. Not seeing the GPU doesn't mean GPU itself has problem. Need to do some troubleshooting.

Try replacing the power supply or changing the PCI slot. Better yet, check your graphics card on a different station.
