Hello,

I'm thinking about upgrading my pc storage and wondering if having two NVME on my motherboard affect my VRM. I asked because I'm running i9 9900k with my EVGA Classified K. Although my motherboard has 13 VRM phase, I'm still quite worried because of how power hungry the i9 9900k is. So will having two NVME m2 or ssd affect my cpu or motherboard in any way? Will I see change in temperature or experience throttling? BTW, I'm thinking about picking up two 2tb nvme.

System
i9 9900k
EVGA GTX 1080 Ti
EVGA Classified K
EVGA P2 750W
EVGA clc 280mm
Corsair Carbide 540
2x Western Digital Blue 2tb
1x Samsung 860 EVO 1tb
1x Corsair XT 480gb

Please let me know if you need more info,

Thank you!

    Hello!

The NVME's will not be affect the power phases on your motherboard, that is solely for your CPU's power delivery. The NVME drives will get their power from the 24 pin power cable which will handle it just fine.
