And at $3000, it COSTS more like 3-4 times the cost of a Vega even at current GOUGE pricing for the Vega when you can find them at all.
Also, even at MSRP the Vega is NOT a good choice for ETH mining - $450 for under 45 Mhash/sec even tweeked is a waste of money.
Try a RX 470/570/480/580 series card that is back to under $250 the past month and hashes 27-30 Mhash/sec with BIOS mods (or 22-25 without) for a GOOD ETH mining card.
If you are going to do cryptocoin mining on a Vega, Monero is what to mine with one.
It WOULD be interesting to see what the Titan V can do on FAH or MilkeyWay (BOINC) work - though even there it's going to be insanely overpriced.
Now that vorsholk has stopped his abuse, I'm returning to folding.
I no longer MOO due to abuses by certain "whales" in the Gridcoin community - so I now work the Distributed.net project directly again.
