really hope this update somehow helps frame loss in xsplit broadcaster for the 3070ti. Or maybe it's because I enabled reflex? Regardless never had frame issues with 3060 so which makes me think it was the drivers.

They're getting closer to a golden driver, but this isn't it.  It works better than 466.11 (the one I stuck with previously), but they still haven't fixed the dpc latency problem.

It's really nice to see they fixed warcraft and VR (allegedly).  I hope they can hotfix the dpc latency problem.  The driver would be near perfect then.

What do you mean that it's getting closer to a golden driver? Are the frametimes almost perfect with this driver or fps is better? I try to avoid driver updates due to an issue I had once with a bad driver.

No driver is perfect, but Nvidia seems to release roughly one driver per year that gets almost everything reasonably right, and a lot of people can then safely stick to that driver for a long while before updating unless there's something specific they need (for a newer game for instance).  There's always a period of time after a new generation of gpu's are released where the drivers need to be tweaked for awhile before they start to get it right - this gen it's taken them longer than most I'd say (9 months of warcraft and VR issues has been a little absurd).  457.51 was a really good driver for instance, but it still didn't have some significant things quite right.  The 466 drivers introduced some bad dpc latency issues that haven't been addressed yet.  Nvidia would probably do well to split their drivers into different branches - maybe one driver for everything pre-ray tracing and one for all the ray tracing cards, for instance.  It seems like they often end up breaking two things when they fix one because they're trying to cram too much crap into a single 600MB driver.

Hopefully the vr issue is finnaly solved it seemed to have started back in May of last year its been rough if you had the issues for vr on 30th gen as you could not really go back far enough to remove them. Some drivers were alot better then others along the way though

I haven't tested VR, but with the latest version of windows and this driver running, I can say that wow still flickers.  The issue *might* have improved a little... it's hard to say.

Are you sure the driver is installed right?  I installed it earlier and after turning MSAA and RTX Shadows back on had no flickering on multiple characters zoning through multiple areas.  Those two settings I had to turn off with one of the recent drivers that "improved" but did not fix the issue in order to "fix" it myself.  Not sure if it's driver or new OBS version related but I also no longer get UI element flickering in OBS with RTX Shadows on (only showed up in OBS and streams, not in game).  I'm stuck on a 2080 Super still though so maybe there's still an issue with 30xx series cards?

I read that that there were a couple of tricks like that that made it work for awhile, but everyone I saw who tried it said the flickering inevitably came back.  My understanding of the problem is that the WoW flickering's source lies partly with microsoft (windows), partly with nvidia (drivers) and partly with the WoW dev team that might have broken something, so they're having a hard time getting it to work since three parties all had something to do with it.

So this driver has been an enigma to me.  At first it looked like the flickering in wow had gotten at least a little better, then it got worse to the point where it was just about as bad as it was originally, and now I'm having my whole screen go black for something like .5-2 seconds at random times in that game.

They actually made the wow problem worse, at least for my setup.

So this driver has been an enigma to me.  At first it looked like the flickering in wow had gotten at least a little better, then it got worse to the point where it was just about as bad as it was originally, and now I'm having my whole screen go black for something like .5-2 seconds at random times in that game.

They actually made the wow problem worse, at least for my setup.
its been iffy for me back to 462.65 for me as its the best driver so far for the 3070ti. Maybe the next one will be better. I'd love to have the vr fix but this new driver was pretty bleh for me. 461.92 was my go to before but the 3070ti can't use it sadly
