I am holding on to the 391.01 for a while... At least until I actually have a reason to mess with things. The 391.01 are the best drivers in a long time for me.

Exactly the same here. 391.01 have caused no problems. If it ain't broke etc. Unless you got FC5. But one guy on another forum stated FC5 works great with older
drivers. (Not 391.24). From ours 391.01 and back.

I got FC5 free for buying a new 960 disk. But those idiots at Uplay messed it up. Many emails etc. Now invalid and no game. I've given up on that. I HATE Uplay,
and always have. Origin have come a long way to being pretty decent IMO. Of course Steam is miles ahead King of the hill.

    fixed
EDIT:After a few more reboots after setting Optimal...the car now behaves correctly.

My gpu 1080 TI FTW3 won't downclock when not using 3d applications after I put this driver in....even clocks up after fresh boot, I'm using Prec XOC, and didn't have a problem with this on previous drivers.  I cylcled thru the Nvidia cntrl panel Power Mangmnt Modes Optimal/Adaptavie/Prefer Max....and restarted...no change..card stays clocked up to 1569 Mhz

I can confirm the profile parser is fixed as indicated in the release notes, it used to fail on wildcards or executables with a similar name but findfile: substringed.

Ah I am still on 390.77 I ussaly wait and see RodroG's bench mark before u update since he goes deep and does 1% and .1% lows. Will maybe venture to see if this newer driver feels better but for now I will just hold on my current one

I will stay with the 391.24 set because they solved a couple of problems I had so I will need no updates soon (I hope).
    also...
I am amused (not amazed) by those who will not try new stuff but find it necessary to post that they will wait for others to do their legwork .... hmmmm. Oh, though neither helpful or harmful they just like like to pollute the net much as I am doing with this edit.

Thanks.  In other news, I got my new bios (Haswell microcode fix) yesterday from Asrock for the X99 Taichi.  Should be golden once the above comes to fruition.

Is it possible with new NVIDIA Drivers to look 4K UHD Blu Ray without Intel Kaby Lake or other Processors.
Off course with NVIDIA Pascal or successor?

LG Make some 4K UHD Blu Ray for 99$... and probably have some external solutions or will be soon.
It would be nice to work with Pascal or successor or older Intel processors.

nvidia and amd will never have uhd bluray support because of the monopolistic design that requires an SGX security processor on board.

Is it that true, I heared NVIDIA have some driver but only with Pascal generation.
That mean we need AV Reciver + UHD Blu Ray Player, fine.

    Yamaha Aventage RX-A670 7.2 channel (650 euro) + Oppo UD5-203 UHD Blu Ray HDR+Dolby Vision (500$)
And we can look UHD without i7-7700K.
Off course there is a cheaper 200-250$ UHD Blu Ray as Samsung and Panasonic but I would like to avoid them and there is more expensive Oppo as 1500$ models but that's not necessary. 4K TV and 2+Central Speaker and that's it Home Theater.

There is no driver, the only 4k media accelerated by geforce is amazon and netflix.

That mean...AMD owners and Intel owners of older generations together with Skylake i7-6700K can't use their PC for UHD Blu Ray?
    This world become funny.
Now what is better investing in normal Home Cinema or connecting some computers.
We see that even high class computers can't support that.

I vote for UHD Blu Ray player connected to AV Reciver because speakers and 4K TV or big monitor than 5.25" UHD BluRay and Kaby Lake.
That's insanity because older generation not support and need Intel Internal GPU.
I almost believed that I will be capable to use UHD BluRay for 100$ and new Windows 10 OS. Hahahaha...
    That's not acceptable for corporations.

Yep.  Digital Restrictions Management.  Because DRM only stops people who want to play their stuff legitimately.  Too bad fair use doesn't exist in most countries.  Makes me glad to live where I do, as we can "break the law" to watch our stuff, legally.  http://www.michaelgeist.ca/2012/11/bill-c-11-effect/  (proof in case mods think I am discussing an illegal act) Under Canadian law, it is not an infringement to possess tools or software that can be used to circumvent digital locks and liability is limited to actual damages in non-commercial cases.

    It's all about DRM.

We have the right to archive our media.  Which may be soon be devolved should the US decide in fact to ratify TPP (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trans-Pacific_Partnership#Intellectual_property) , sigh.

Since I've upgraded to this driver, i've had tons of issues. Get a few minutes of gameplay then games freeze. Far Cry 5 crashes, everything on Origin freezes, might try rolling back the driver. temp was 71c during my last crash.
