I was hoping someone would have some insight into which thermal pads this particular model uses and where one would get some or suitable replacements

also, if theres anything i should consider with how to determine what damage (edit: if any) has been caused to the cooling unit.

What damage has been caused? I don't know. Are the fans spinning? Is the heatsink full of dust? If the heatsink is clean and the fans are working, it probably just needs the thermal paste on the core replaced.

Hiya, yes probably just the typical overexertion. for about 2 1/2 years it was running hard in a tiny dusty room, the rooms composition didnt allow for much wiggle room to constantly pull it out and clean as required so there was an abundance of dust buildup, and was at times running at 90°.

The exterior gpu casing/fans have already been cleaned out but its still causing crashes even when hardpushed its now only reaching 40°, im still not sure whether its the gpu or psu causing issues, or some kind of heat damage to literally anything inside the tower.

Once i start pulling it apart to clean and reapply the thermal paste im worried the thermal pads will be in such poor condition i wouldnt be able to reassemble. just wondering what other markers for damage should i check out when doing this and where to get suitable thermal pad replacements, if anyone knows. i see many online but cant determine which ones ill need, which thickness/softness and such.
