Going to test to see how well this New CRD Driver Folds and Crunches.
So far no Crunching Issues noted, No CUDA or OpenCL Issues.
PG AP27 Search v2.03 (OCL_cuda_AP27) now runs well on the RTX Cards
SETI@home v8 v8.00 (cuda50) Seems to run a little slower now.

Graphics drivers have been not good lately... Why not?

Why? Why does Nvidia need a separate line of drivers? Why not a unified driver that is optimized both for games and applications? Nvidia drivers already has profiles that can implement different driver behavior depending on what application is running.

For some odd reason, on my system...I am forced to install GeForce Experience...can't uncheck under options.  Not going to install these...
 
**Nevermind...chose the wrong install...all good now!

I'm pretty happy about this change actually. It'll be nice having a set of drivers that are on a different and slower release cadence. I've wanted baseline drivers that have undergone more thorough QA- this simply can't be said for Nvidia 'game-ready' drivers in the last 6 months or so. One game sees fixes or a framerate boost, another game crashes. Now if there are problems or if stability is desired over incremental performance improvements there are a set of drivers for such gamers to use to either debug with or play with more peace of mind- in theory.

I tried the 419.67 Drivers but they were not to good in my system and went back to the 419.35 .
The 419.67 in BFV were acting a little weird with framerate drop .

You should be using the GeForce Game Ready Driver (GRD) and not the Creator Ready Driver (CRD).

They should re-pin the GeForce Game Ready Driver (GRD) to avoid  this in the Future.
Maybe the Creator Ready Driver (CRD) should not be pinned.
EVGA is only Posting GeForce Game Ready Driver (GRD) under the EVGA Download Center ATM.
But I am not seeing any Gaming Issues to include BF4 and BF5 or BFV with this CRD Driver.

One of the issues is the test cycle. It takes longer and more detailed testing to assure that the apps people use to make a living are stable (most important), producing expected output (important) and performing well (less important). More methodical testing and fixing process. 
 
Games have a bit of different test-process and priority, where the demand is more about making the most of popular titles and newest titles in terms of framerates and nasty bugs that annoy people.  Sometimes a quick fix that no one is really sure about is better for that audience of users. 
 
I know the creative and pro app users are never sure whether to allow a game-ready driver update or keep what they have. Many of them are a whole lot of releases behind the game-ready releases. Installing an update is disruptive enough. Installing one that de-stabilizes a workflow is a big deal. 
 
Makes sense. If the hottest game needs a fix, I'm totally fine with a quick fix that gets it playing. On the other hand, if I'm earning a living with a GPU accelerated app, the last thing I'd want is a mystery-fix for a game I don't play that does something "weird" or just causes me not to trust it.
