Artificial intelligence is revolutionizing gaming - from in-game physics and animation simulation, to real-time rendering and AI-assisted broadcasting features. And NVIDIA is at the forefront of this field, bringing gamers, scientists and creators incredible advancements. With Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS), NVIDIA set out to redefine real-time rendering through AI-based super resolution - rendering fewer pixels, then using AI to construct sharp, higher resolution images, giving gamers previously unheard-of performance gains.

Powered by dedicated AI processors on GeForce RTX GPUs called Tensor Cores, DLSS has accelerated performance in more than 25 games to date, boosting frame rates significantly, ensuring GeForce RTX gamers receive high-performance gameplay at the highest resolutions and detail settings, and when using immersive ray-traced effects. And now, NVIDIA has delivered four new DLSS titles for gamers to enjoy.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War
War Thunder
Enlisted
Ready or Not

These titles join the ever-growing list of games enhanced with NVIDIA technology that makes the experiences of GeForce gamers even better. More integrations of NVIDIA DLSS, NVIDIA Reflex and raytracing are in the works, including in the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077.

NVIDIA's support of DLSS is outstanding in my personal opinion

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

great to really focus on those big named, AAA, high demand  games that players are asking about ..

Haha, I've never even heard of 3 of those....... so I'm sure the 12 people who play them are glad they finally got that DLSS they've been asking for.

You sure are ready to settle for 3 games knowing that some consumers wasted money on a high premium GPU to play the games with DLSS On?

Those who abuse power, are nothing but scumbags! The challenge of power is how to use it and not abuse it. The abuse of power that seems to create the most unhappiness is when a person uses personal power to get ahead without regards to the welfare of others, people are obsessed with it. You can take a nice person and turn them into a slob, into an insane being, craving power, destroying anything that stands in their way.

@jebkeeez - I don't think DLSS increases input lag. But input lag is largely determined by your frame rate, as your inputs are processed on a per-frame basis. DLSS does a good job increasing frame rates, which means it would reduce input lag in games where you were not already hard capped at your monitor's max refresh rate.

The main drawback of DLSS was that it is not a 1:1 rasterization, but a sort of trick to only process a portion of the image and using AI and other methods to "fill in the blanks" which wasn't always 100% accurate, leading to sometimes harder to read small text on objects and things like that. Tiny details were sometimes missed or processed incorrectly.

Dlss 2.0 made a big improvement on that aspect and in some testing showed better than native 4k clarity on some things.

I guess the only test I would need to see is a solidly locked, say, 144fps, and then turn on dlss at a solid locked 144hz, and then see if dlss adds input lag. I doubt it does, especially by any noticeable amount.

And given real world use of it increasing fps, chances are it would be a net positive in terms of input lag, at the very least creating a more uniform experience.

I hope they add dlss to destiny 2. It's pretty rough trying to maintain 150+ fps / consistent fps at 3680 x 1600 resolution and high settings lol.

Wow video games are becoming so realistic. I have been away from videogames since my high school days.
