Hello everyone, for a while now i try to get my nu audio on my threadripper workstation up & running, but it doesn´t want to. I tried different adapters from 16x to mini pcie, down to server & mining adapters. Still it doesn´t want to work. My motherboard only has 16x pcie gen3 slots, can some1 pls help me further. I don´t have the money to buy a new board atm. Best Regards, Wouldcrash

Would, can you post your specs out like in my sig?
If you haven't tried the full size slot for the card, please do...it should work there too...

PSU has dedicated cable to the NU-Audio & Avermedia 4k capture-cards are in the system.

See How to troubleshoot if I am experiencing issues with my EVGA NU Audio Card? in the EVGA FAQs if you haven't yet..You can also search 'NU Audio' in the FAQs and get other hits.
You might also update your mobo BIOS to the latest version if you haven't yet and is needed.
That's all I have..Good luck.
The latest is from December 2019, F2 (if he has Rev 1.0 of the board)....only 2 BIOS available. I might try (if you have F2) resetting the bios and try again...but the link Bob gave is about all I would have too.

Sure if you go into bios, but I don't know the BIOS at all....

i changed some values in the bios, but the Nu Audio doesn´t want to work. I contacted the manufacture Gigabyte in the hope that they maybe have a idea, let´s see. Has somebody else any experience or idea with this issue?

In the Peripherals section of the BIOS you can try disabling the normally enabled HD Audio Controller which is for the on-board/motherboard audio and maybe then it will switch to using the NU Audio card instead, dunno.

The only other thing I can think of to try is to see if it works in another system....do you have another PC (a friends or your own) to plug it into?

Make sure the power connector is a direct from the power supply and not a molex adapter; as it needs 3.3 volts to operate. I made that mistake myself. Does it light up? If so, then your power connector is fine.

I have one in my gigabyte gaming 7 x399 which is essentially the same board with lots of RGB.
There shouldn’t be any issues whatsoever.
Top down I have the pcie slots as 2080ti, Fusion IO 3.2tb ssd, nu audio, Fusion IO, Fusion IO. I have the same CPU as you and ran the nu audio under a very early BiOS and the most recent.

Have you disabled the onboard sound? Try that too
