It’s been a good fall for video games, with overall November sales up 9% over a year ago, according to NPD, but there’s bad news for one game in particular, and I bet you can guess which.
 
NPD is reporting (via WSJ) that Star Wars Battlefront 2 sales (in the US), were only 882,000 in its debut month. This is in sharp contrast to chief Activision rival Call of Duty: WWII, which instead sold 4.4 million copies during the month using the same metric.
 

 
I hope Disney revokes EA license for future StarWars games, due to sales numbers like that.

    Unfortunately if they did revoke the license then SWTOR would have to be shut down. Although considering how poorly optimized that game turned out to be due to being built upon a at the time alpha based game engine and going the single player route because the community demanded it such a cancellation wouldn't really be a huge loss to the MMO scene. I also forgot to mention Bioware blowing so much dough just on the voice actors which is also why the game suffered so badly.

    DICE has been pumping out garbage and to finally see consumers say enough is enough is a great thing to see.
     
    DICE released the latest paid DLC for Battlefield 1 today. It's abysmal garbage. Look at this screenshot I took which shows completely unplayable HDR issues in a game over a year old.

    BF1 ranks last, in my book. It is followed by SWBF.

    I didn't bother with SWBF2, and most likely I'll pass on whatever garbage EA dumps out in 2018.

    They probably only tested the patch on the consoles.
