hahaha, I'm going to keep this for a long time unless Volta is like a 40% jump. I wont trade it out for 10-20% increase Ranmacanada Enjoy your new jet engine hah :) Looks great!
Yea it can be a little load. I changed my side fans a little bit and it helps keep the accoustics and the temps down The clock hits 1847 BoostClock with only increasing the PowerLimit to 120% This boy is happy =)

That card really is beautiful. I like the style, but I think I'm still going to go for an open air fan because it will be somewhat quieter and my case has good ventilation.

So I've settled on running the fan at 55 % and that keeps the temps between 85-89 degrees (with full constant load). I run the power to 120% and have the core bumped up 75 and the mem up 100. The core clock runs steady at 1847 and the acoustics are very reasonable

You'd be the only happy person with temps in the upper 80c. No point in overclocking as the card will thermal downclock at those temps. 50-60s c is where you want the temps. 70-75% fan is where id go after 40c when it's on load in gaming.

wow, you're cooking it. 50-60c is optimal. you run into a soft throttle at 60c. bring the power back to 100% and no overclocking at all. see where temps are, increase fan as needed. that vert mount may also be hurting you as you don't have a bottom case fan blowing up on the intake. card will have a short life at those temps. you're also getting nothing from the OC as you throttle above 60c and it gets worse the hotter you go. the ftw3, strix, gaming x etc can all run 2000mhz {if the chip is decent} and not go above 55-60c in game. just for kicks i ran this msi gaming x 1080ti in a benchmark to see where 1847mhz comes on under full load. it's 84% power. that's how badly you're being throttled at those temps a high flow case fan blowing up from the bottom on a horizontal mount helps those a lot. you feed the blower cold fresh air
