ts been a while since i have posted on the forums. I havent upgraded my PC in a while. I ended up buying one of EVGA's Bstock products, GTX 980TI Classified

I was pretty happy going from a GTX 970 i had. Installed the card and noticed i had issues when running certain games. Played CSGO and Overwatch with no issues whats so ever. BUT.. started to notice games like BFV, NBA 2K19 and Madden 19 would just lock mid game (about 10 mins in). SO i contacted EVGA and started a convo with one of the techs. Days go by and they are getting me to try certain things, but always with the same outcome. So, a RMA was setup. I wasn't very happy since i was going to be down for about 1-2 weeks depending on how fast things happened. It was getting close to the Christmas season and was worried i was going to get caught up with it being even longer. I ended up sending it in, using 2 Day Ground. Never heard anyting back on whether or not it had arrived or what. Hoped on the website and had noticed that it had arrived and now just waited for it to ship back. Few days later ended up getting a track number with odd reference numbers, possibly relating to a video card number. The number was 08G-P4-6583-KR. My card was a  06G-P4-4998-KR. After doing some google, i then realized i had my self a 1080TI coming.... i was shocked!!

I must say, i dont know if this was a mistake, or if it was a way to make a EVGA customer for life. Either way, im SUPER stoked for the card, and i only hope others get a surprise from EVGA. Thanks again EVGA, and anyone i spoke with during the RMA process. You guys rock!!

    With RMAs, it can be whatever they have left in stock that is equal or better to what you have. Sometimes the roll of the dice works out.

    I think it's customary to get an improvement when they don't have the same model to exchange.   It's happened to me a few times.

    I've used EVGA since early 2008. I have multiple builds with something EVGA in it. Wish they did Ryzen mobos lol.

    +1  I haven't had to RMA many things, but when I did EVGA always stepped up. Quite a nice upgrade, walks.
