    I just ordered a used GTX 550Ti off fleabay to supplement the 550Ti I already have to up my folding a bit.  It looks like the multiple GPU guide link in the index thread is broken and a quick search didn't turn up anything.  Will FaH automatically see it and take off or will there be some configuring that I'll have to do on my part?  I won't be connecting anything to the new card or trying to SLI it (first card isn't SLI capable), it'll just be in there folding.

thanks,
Ian

    After you have installed the new card, open up fah, click configure (top left) > then in the window that pops up click the "slots" tab and click "add" on the bottom. You may have to play with these numbers. I seem to remember having to do this on one of my rigs but dont think I had do do it on all (been a bit).

    I'm getting my Ti's and my chainsaws all screwed up apparently.  My chainsaw is 550xp.  My video card is a 1050.  Bah.  If I had ordered a 550 chainsaw it would have been a heck of a chainsaw.  As it is, what I ordered can go directly into the garbage as I come back from the mailbox.

    I would take my chainsaw to the card and send it back to the seller ;-}
    Out of curiosity, what did you receive? Wrong item? Damaged? A brick?

    What happened with the EBay card???  I think you may have to remove/install drivers again. Not positive on that.
    I know finances are a consideration, but if you could go 1060 would be a better result.

    Oh nothing happened with the ebay card.  My feeble mind searched for 550 instead of 1050 and that's what I bought.  Didn't occur to me that $35 was a ridiculously low price for a 1050 when I bought it.   I wasn't even drunk, so I can't even blame the booze. As has been pointed out, a 550 is a waste of electricity.  I have no need for it, so when it arrives, I will drop the whole box in the garbage on the way back from the mailbox and chalk it up to early onset dumb***.

    Don't worry we all mess up at times. Just learn from it and move on...
