for a pump, i recommend hands down the Swiftech MCP 655 since your running a quad, id also recommend a swiftech Apogee GT water block. Swiftech makes some really nice rads too. The case i have is a HAF 932 and it works great for my system. im considering my next build to be a HAF X case

    Here is my recommended list:

    Case:
    http://www.newegg.com/Pro...811139001&Tpk=800d
One of the best cases available for water cooling right now. It's cheaper than a Mountain Mods and Lian Li. If your not on a budget you can look into those as well.

    CPU Block:
    http://www.performance-pc...&products_id=27630
    Top of the line block.

    Radiator:
    http://www.performance-pc...&products_id=25389
Great performing rad at a great price. It is a bit thick but most cases will hold it.

    Thinner Radiator:
    http://www.performance-pc...&products_id=25251
If you prefer something smaller then this rad is a lot thinner and it still performs very well. $77.95

    Fans:
    http://www.performance-pc...&products_id=24747
The Gentle Typhoons are amazing fans with great static pressure. They are also extremely quiet but rather expensive.

If you want some cheaper fans then Yate Loons are what your looking for:
    http://www.petrastechshop.com/12yalod1cafa.html

Boredgunner has a great writeup on fans in this section. 38mm fans usually have better static pressure but are much louder. If you can fit them on your rad and don't mind the noise then I would go with some San Ace fans. Boredgunner swears up and down that Petras has the best Yate Loons. I would trust him with my life.

    Pump:
    http://www.performance-pc...&products_id=20655
Best performing pump in its price range. Greater head pressure than the 655 with lots of mounting options.

    Reservoir:
    http://www.performance-pc...&products_id=23357
I use that along with the 355 and performance is top notch.

    Fittings:
    http://www.performance-pc...c345164c47c96e6656813f
Bitspower compression fittings give a clean look, but barbs work just as good and are a lot cheaper.

    Tubing:
To me, tubing is tubing. Just make sure it is the right size. I would get AT LEAST 6 feet of tubing.

    Coolant:
I would only use distilled water and one of these http://www.petrastechshop.com/sikibyia.html

One thing I highly recommend are quick disconnects. There is an assortment here:
    http://www.performance-pc...p;cPath=59_346_203_481

Here is a nice write up about disconnects I would read:
    [link=../forumsarchive/tm.asp?m=658591]http://forums.evga.comarchive/tm.asp?m=658591[/link]

Also, if mounting your pump is gonna be tough, I would suggest looking into one of these:
    http://www.performance-pc...x&cPath=59_439_767

I have one and it is a life savor. I've mounted my pump in every possible location in my Cosmos case. It works well with that res pump top too.

I did not shop around for the best price, but I gave you what products I recommend. If you shop around at various retailers I'm sure you could shave a couple bucks.

There is also http://www.frozencpu.com/ but I had a bad experience with them along with several other people.

Here's some links you may want to skim a little to get more info
    Water Cooling Parts Guide
And here's some CPU block reviews/test
I hope this helps, along with the other info that others suggested.

once you get all your goodies
fit up parts then run tubing and remove parts out of case/MB
    and test for leaks

NOTE when tighten fittings with 0-rings wet them with water to lube them, once seated NO more then 3/8 turn
all fitted up  place paper towel around fitting for indication leaks
to run pump ONLY....  jump psu  and don't let pump run dry

Never knew that the number of cores made a difference, I've got an MCP350 and a 980x in my other machine.
id also recommend a swiftech Apogee GT water block.
    Kind of outdated

Swiftech Apogee GT has been replaced with the XT. Good block, I like it, but there are better, only got it for ease of installation.

Heh... I was gonna add helpful links when I seen the thread but most of the guys have you covered.

I will only add that I like and would support the EK branding of blocks, including the EK Supreme HF block for CPU's :D
