Hey

So I am currently waiting for my 4th 2070 to arrive and my sanity is questionable.

I have replaced the power supply for my computer and cards are still dying in my system. Part of me is damn sure it is the refurbished card lottery but the other half is wondering if it is the motherboard. How the hell do you even diagnose what the PCIE slot is doing? It seems like the only possibility would be bent pins short circuiting the card.

The cards typically work fine for a brief period (week or two) and there doesn't seem to be signs of damage physically. If the slot was damaged I would think the computer will bluescreen immediately.

It is most likely terrible QC on Nvidia chips but I need this to stop. Any help is appreciated.

The best and most efficient way to test this would be to try a different PC to see if it keeps happening.

That makes sense but I would need to test it for a few weeks in that computer since the cards typically work for a while.

Run PCI Express 1.0 and see what your Slot is up to.
It is now part of the 3DMark UL Benchmark Software.
Your Bandwidth should be at least 12.xx GB/s

By any chance would you happen to have a family member with a PC similar to yours that you may be able to use? I know it would be difficult, but narrowing down the issue could be difficult using the same system.
