I don't have much experience with VR. A friend of mine had the PS4 VR and it blew me away. What are the most realistic VR Games/Software that a consumer could get? What about non-consumer? I'd like to look into both... Thanks!

I wonder if VR will ever really catch on.... Playstation's was pretty nice, but no one talks about it any more. I think if they improved gameplay it would help a lot. I guess it's more of a gimmick now.

It's not exactly realistic but Blood & Truth on the PSVR is like being in an action movie. It's exhilarating! And Squadrons is a hell of a lot of fun, too.

Robo recall, isn't super realistic but it's immersive enough to make up for that

I watched all the videos. Robo Recall looks awesome! Gotta try that one. I'm not too into the horror genre, though I liked until dawn. I'm hoping to find more of an open world VR someday.

I have the HP G2, looks great in sim racing. It does require a beefier CPU and of course a good GPU. Have also owned the Samsung + and Lenovo headsets, both were very good in sim racing. The Samsung was not far from the HP and equipment requirements were less harsh. The Lenovo was my first and was a very good intro unit.

Hot Dogs, Horseshoes, and Hand Grenades. Silly name, but it's pretty much a virtual shooting range with extremely accurately modeled guns.

I think there will be more adoption of VR as time passes and it becomes cheaper and the tech/games get better. There really aren't many games that interest me at the moment tbh.

I am planning on getting into VR when I get either a 3080 or 4080, probably for simracing.
