Microsoft are bringing AMD FreeSync 2 to Xbox One

Today no FreeSync compatible TVs exist, which means that Xbox One S/X users will only be able to make use of this feature on FreeSync compliant PC monitors. Xbox consoles do not use DisplayPort for display connectivity, which will force users to further narrow their search for an applicable FreeSync monitor with support for FreeSync over HDMI.  (only Xbox One S and X consoles will be updated to utilize the feature.)
 
However it will be some time before this comes to fruition.

    I'm surprised they are even bothering. It's free so I guess why not, but still the range of freesync isn't good for the low range which is what consoles are producing in the first place.

    Yeah I don't see why this is even a thing since most console players are on TV's and not monitors, but like fearpoint said its free..so yeah.

    Breath..Think..React.... Do that in reverse equals regret..
