I 'heard' that some people say that their Favorites get wiped out upon updating..I know to export/import them again, but just wondering if that happened to you.

Been waiting for the newer version to be shown in Windows Update, but, nothing so far.

Yup that right Bob as saw in Windows Forums saying about their Favourites get wiped out upon updating few weeks ago so I better wait and this Software is Stable not Beta or Canary Build.
I have already backup my favourites and other setting before update to New Edge 80.0.36.66 which I know it might not save my setting but after installed everything there no need import your back up!! It ready to go no need add on or something!!!

EDIT> Tips it so good and more improve much quickly loading website not like old Edge!!

yes, the new EDGE is better than before ( because it's just a modified Chrome version )

I'm trying to get away from Googel/ chrome - they have changed so much over the years.
They have now become what they started out hating against....big corp/ data miners .

Very nice browser - but - you have to use the Microsoft store to download/install useful plugins/extensions such as Adblock Plus etc.  If you could just download and install Chrome extensions it would be amazing.

How to install Chrome extension on the new Microsoft Edge.
1 Open Microsoft Edge and select Menu than Extensions.
2 Enable the “Allow extensions from other stores”
3 Search the Chrome Web Store and find the extension you want.
4 Click on "Add to Chrome" to install the extension.
5 Read the notification about what your extension can do, and then select "Add Extension".

And here is a fun one to mess around with,  put this in the Edge address bar > edge://edge-urls/

Edit: Oh one thing to add for anyone who uses CCleaner Piriform has added full support for Edge Chromium.

So far it seems stable and fast. It's a nice update over the old Edge and between it and Firefox I haven't had a site that doesn't load like it should without the site being down.

Use an Associates Code & SAVE 5% - 10% on your purchase. Just click on the associates banner to save, or enter the associates code at checkout on your next purchase. If you choose to use my code I want to personally say "Thank You" for using it.
