Seriously though, every game that was made for Star Wars was fantastic in its own right. I also loved Republic Commando and Bounty Hunter.

Aw man, really glad to see some love for Bounty Hunter. Used to be one of my faves on Gamecube! OG battlefront is still super fun.

I didn't really play it! I didn't have a system that could play it when it came out, but I read the novel. I have some mixed feelings about Elements of the story but it looks super fun. I'm gonna play it soon on PC.

I actually gave Galaxies a try after Sony shut it down on a fan-run private server. Player numbers weren't as high as the official game, but it was interesting giving it a go. I don't know if they still run the private servers.
I can relate to the time spent though. I spent a few years playing Star Trek Online.
Sony rebooting the MMO a few years back. It tried to be too much like WoW and lack all the elements that made the original great. Or maybe I was just older and games moved on.

I think I know what you're talking about, the last major update where they changed a lot of stuff. The fan-run private server(s) are still up, you can find them by searching "Star Wars Galaxy Emulator" if you're interested. What did you think of The Old Republic?

I think I know what you're talking about, the last major update where they changed a lot of stuff. The fan-run private server(s) are still up, you can find them by searching "Star Wars Galaxy Emulator" if you're interested.
What did you think of The Old Republic?
I remember playing a demo when it first came out. It was fine, but none of my friends were playing it so it wasn't worth shelling out money every month for a game I played irregularly.

Yeah, I've had the same experience with games, and the inverse where I play/get into games because my friends play them, like Destiny 2.

I spent quite a bit of time with Star Wars Galaxies. Then the Combat Upgrade came out. I tried it out for a while, but it didn't hold my interest as much after that. I didn't even try the NGE. I'm still subbed to SWTOR and hop on every now and then.

My brother ended up buying BF1 after BF2 and it was also a solid game. It would be awesome if we could get a remaster with the same gameplay with today's graphics. I doubt EA would do that though.

The Jedi Knight series. I played the first one when it was a Dark Forces game and was still impressed. The second one was amazing. The third one is a classic that probably cannot be replicated.

KOTOR2 then maybe Rogue Squadron on GC. I think I'll put the Sega arcade game in too, where you duel with Vader.
I love Shadows but think the gameplay may now have aged as well.
Loved "Force Unleashed" as one of the best for its presentation.

It's hard to choose one..
KOTOR1/2 are great RPGs although they definitely need a remaster/remake (and it seems we are getting one!).
Empire at War is a nice RTS and with all the mods available you can have tons of fun with it!
Oh and Jedi Academy for sure. The fact that a 2003 game is still alive today says a lot! Jedi Academy + Movie Battles II (mod) is amazing and still active.
I could go on and on, to be honest I really enjoyed most of the Star Wars games so it's hard to just pick one.. it really depends on what I want to play!
